Bottlenose Dolphin(Flipper) would make sense as Water Fairy, because they're cute/playful.
Orca/Killer Whale Water/Dark because they hunt like wolves.
Porpoise evolving into a False Killer Whale, pure water type, added to the encounter ratio to offset the standalone Dolphin, and Orca

I created an evolution of swordfish pokemon a few years back.
There were called Snapier and Prongarde, and were in fact Water/Steel. I based their appearance partially on rapiers, as hinted by their names.
I also created a killer whale as an evolution for Sharpedo, known as Kamikale. Controversial name, I know, but it was a pretty sweet pokemon.
I wish I still had the pictures.

Mega Latia/os forms were seen in X/Y, they're probably in ORAS
Mega Tropius would be neat, I dunno how I'd feel about sudden new baby/evo
Mega Dragonite should be Dragon/Fairy but what would the Megastone be called?

Mega Sceptile, Mega Swampert, and Mega Diancie have been revealed. While Mega Diancie's new ability hasn't been named yet, Mega Swampert gets Swift Swim and looks bulky as fuck, while Mega Sceptile get Lightning Rod and becomes Grass/Dragon. What does that mean for it?
-Increased resistance to Water;
-Increased resistance to Grass;
-Immunity and free Sp. Attack boost from Electric attacks. Obviously, the negatives from the doubled Ice weakness, new weaknesses to Dragon and Fairy, and with Poison now becoming a little more prominent, it's not all peaches and cream, but considering the boost given to Energy Ball, the STAB gained on Dragon Pulse (despite the move's slight nerf), and the plethora of physical attacks it could use with Swords Dance (most notably, STAB Outrage), our first Grass/Dragon is going to have a field day with its new Mega!

I also like Sceptile's new Mega form as well. I can't wait to build another cross-regional team using it's Grass/Dragon typing. I know having this typing gives it more weaknesses, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem provided you have the appropriate counters on your team to back it up.
Also, NEVER been a big fan of Swampert; I always thought it's design was just silly. That being said, I will admit that it's new Mega-form looks pretty damn tough. I still won't use it, but I can at least (now) respect it.

Drought has always halved the strength of Water attacks; Drizzle also halves Fire attack damage, which is why guys like Ferrothorn and Scizor work so well in Rain teams. Unfortunately, because Groudon's now part Fire with his Regression form there, he'll now take more damage from Water than he would prior to his transformation.

I never saw Drought to half the damage of Water-type moves; I must have yet to notice.
Hopefully, you're right.
As stated before, my boyfriend got me into Pokemon after years and years of hating the series.
One of his favorites is Mew... I thought I could get Mew before him and, you know, brag like crazy. Unfortunately, he got Mew... and another.
I need some good ones that'll make him jealous. Charizard X I think he wants more than anything?
Anyone just know which Pokemon are good to have in your deck?

I'm not sure if anyone here plays the card game.
The majority of us play the video game series. One thing I do know about the TCG, though, is that whatever types you have must be able to coexist. You could try looking up theme decks. Brushfire and Neo Destiny - Dark are some old ones.

I used to play the TCG but they started making newer cards so much better in-game than the original few sets. Occasionally I do go back through my thousands of cards to make decks and play with a friend. Not too often though.
Question.
Do you guys think that pokemons that don't have a second evolution BUT have mega evolutions would actually have a normal evolution in the future?
Some examples:
Mawile
Pinsir
Heracross
It just seems weird for them to have an evolution in the future since they now have a mega evolution. What do you guys think?

I really hope not I also think it would be very dumb. The mega evolution acts as their evo imo.
What other new mega evolutions do you think we'll see?
I think we'll get
Lapras
Possibly gen2 starters
Qwilfish
Dunsparce
Latios/Latios
Jirachi

It's stated in X &Y that mega evolution is when a pokemon reaches its full potential.
I don't think there's anything after mega evolution.
