Don't know if this is an April fools or not, can't see the date it was posted.
This image depicts a new Pokémon, with the Japanese name, Ferion. It is a Light/Flying dual-type Pokémon which could be a new beginning of the game Flying type evolutionary line or possibly a legendary? Who knows...
We also know more about how Light types will work:
Offensively, Light types will be Super Effective against Dark, Fighting, and Steel types. They will not be very effective against Rock, Psychic, or other Flying types
Defensively, Light types will be weak against Ghost, Poison, and Dark types and resistant to Fighting and Light.
Having another type will move the series forward and will really change gameplay. How could you not be excited for this?!
Besides the introduction of a new type, Pokémon X and Y will have these new gameplay improvements and additions:
After you beat the Elite Four you gain access to an island. You can then go back into the world and recruit AI trainers or friends (like Join Avenue) to create a town, and ultimately your own gym.
You can gain abilities by leveling up, like moves. You then choose which ability you want to keep.
IVs and EVs will be shown in game on the Pokémon's stats screen and there will be a tutorial section for them.
You receive two Exp. Shares.
There will be 6 vs. 6 battles.
The level cap can be increased for certain Pokémon. To do this you must go to the new Pokémon Friendship Center and officially befriend your Pokémon. After this, that Pokémon will be able to reach level 120. This Pokémon will also follow you on the field. You can change which Pokemon you are partners with by going back to the Pokémon Friendship Center at the cost of lowering it back to level 100.
All Pokémon will learn a special move at the increased level cap.
All ledges on the field will now be slides.
Every fifth random encounter will be a Zubat you can't run from that only uses Confuse Ray and always goes first.
What do you guys think?

That looks so fake that it's hilarious. Definitely not Ken Sugimori's work.

That doesn't look great. But Mewtwo's chances of getting into Kerfuffle are high now so that's cool.
On another note, does anyone want to battle? I don't think I've ever battled anyone on here. I have a team of 70s~ on my Black game. Also I have no idea how online play works because I've never done it.

If only you had asked a little earlier.
Right now, I gotta go to the laundromat. If you want, I'll be back home in a couple of hours so maybe then we can duke it out.

It was posted on April Fool's Day, so no, none of that's real.
As for the "Mewthree" thing, I hope it's a new Pokemon. I always thought that Mewtwo's gene-splicing story was interesting, so I hope that a sort of sequel to it, with people trying to recreate a Mewtwo, but making something better.

That's a good idea. Let's hope is a new pokemon and not Mewtwo's new form or evolution.

I ABHOR soft-resetting for Legendaries and any rare males I find in Dream World! Thankfully, this weekend's been fruitful for that...
Abra - #063 (Modest)
HP: 6 - 7
Att: 7
Def: 30
SpA: 28
SpD: 25
Speed: 21
Also successfully bred a relatively powerful Sheer Force Steelix...
Onix - #095 (Adamant)
HP: 26
Att: 31
Def: 29
SpA: 1
SpD: 20
Speed: 30
Starting to get pretty good at this whole breeding thing.

Hate to be double-posting, but I have a request. Does anybody have B/W/B2/W2 and a Cheating Device? I got a used Diamond game a while back, and the guy left an event Celebi on it, but he DELETED the exclusive move Nasty Plot. Since Celebi doesn't learn it naturally, the move's gone for good unless I have someone put it back on. Can anyone lend me a hand?
If you're requiring more of an incentive than just doing it as a favour, I can breed you a good-stat Pokemon in exchange, or you a fossil, or try to get you something from Dreamworld... Let me know!
I have some guys in the 80s that I'd love to test out if you're game.
Oh yes, that ugly Mewtwo thing is really Mewtwo... No new Pokemon, just a new form. Ugh, I can tolerate getting new forms for the same generation, but new forms for Pokemon from a completely different generation? I mean, going all the way back to Mewtwo? I can see that as a way of unifying the series with its roots and getting some of the newer kids into looking back at the first Uber out there, but I'd have liked it more if this new form was a new Pokemon that was tied to Mewtwo somehow, maybe elaborating on the Genesect concept of taking an existing/extinct pokemon and making it better, using it as the main focus of the next gen instead of some side-quest story.

Fixed the link for you (click the quote) and here's some cuteness for the thread:
While watching the trailer for the newest Pokemon movie (there sure are a lot of theme), I noticed something very interesting towards the end, where the short film was advertised.
Each pokemon is framed with a frame that represents their type....
...and parts of Sylveon's frame bear quite a resemblance to Burgh's gym badge.
Could this be a hint that Sylveon is a bug type?
I still hope this is true.
