First of All Minion i do think that Noob should be right up thier with the best of them but it's true without his storyline, scorpion and subzero would have no base behind their personality towards each other.

First Scorpion killed the original Subzero(Noob) then Noob's brother sought revenge against Scorpion, thats how the hold enemies between the two started. His storyline is probably the most important.

Thats why i think he such a good chararcter and deserves to be in the top 5 characters of the entire MK series.

I really don't know how to cut the MK cast down to just 10 characters. It's so hard.
Boon stated that Superman will not be invulnerable because that is only on earth, so the outworld is part of the game which means there have to be a few outworld characters.

That being said, my cast prediction for MK only (cos i don't really know DC universe characters off the top of my head) are:

The only problem I see with this is that they are all MK4 and earlier characters. I'm a traditional old school MK fan so I may be a bit biased.

I don't believe any of the MK4+ characters were a HUGE hit with MK fans, certainly not like the originals

It would be nice to get Cyrax/Sektor/Ermac in there as well, but i cant see more than 3 ninjas having a start in a selection of 10 characters.
The only other females that I could imagine in the cast are either Mileena or Sonya. But why Sonya without any of the 'Dragon' clan members? She needs to sit this out.

Something else to think about is the story. It's called MK vs DC, but is that true? MK vs DC characters? Or is it (MK good + DC good) vs (MK evil + DC evil)? The latter makes sense because of the evil characters getting Superman involved in the outworld where his powers are less. EDIT: Of course having the traditional characters my be very far from being part of the game. I mean Midway have already fd over the old school MK fans by creating this game and taking away fatalities. So just don't be certain that newer (after MK4) characters won't be in the game.

Emperor Shao Kahn:
The Emperor of Outworld. He needs to be in it one way or another. He is the icon of brute force for Mortal Kombat. Obviously, since he only just became Emperor again after his 9458358 downfalls, he shouldn't be killed off.

Johnny Cage:
I think we need to still have one of the classic Mortal Kombat good guys from the first game. Obviously, since Raiden and Liu Kang are fucked up now, Johnny Cage is the only one left. After how mature he's gotten after MK:A, I think it would be interesting to see where the story goes.

Other than that, I don't give a fuck. lol.
