If it works, do you think boon could have this same idea in mind to advedrtise for MK8, because if you look at noob.com left to right its the earth the kombat symbol, then the moon, and the page even shows the distance as if that had something to do with crossing that distance. I dont know how solid of a theory this is but its certainly possible.

also the note christmas index, is the name of the widget, nothing to do with a christmas release date.

They can't afford more than one FMV per game... I'm pretty sure moon projection is a little bit out of their budget...

i dunno rolling rock isnt that big of a company either, EDIT: plus midway has been known for crazy marketing stunts as far as mortal kombat goes, remember the mk4 road show, that was big.

Noob.com updated yet again. The 'eyes' are now below the coutdown. Above the coutdown is 'Answers' and a yellow 'pulse' type line connects the moon and the earth. That is all I can see for now though.

First there is: The Noob.com sign has been Edited. Most editoned we've seen so far.
But the Numbers we've had before over the countdown are gone. Instead Ed has replaced it with a "Pulse Line" that starts from Earth, Works it's way to the Mortal Kombat Logo and then the Moon.

And above the Countdown it says Answers.

Basically boon is saying: I replaced those confusing Numbers with a Line. That way people won't wonder about it.
And how do I know that?

Those are Boons eyes. No doubt. So that's pretty much what he was saying. =/

I dunno... Boon has darker, more bushy eyebrows. I highly doubt it's a character, it's insipidly plain especially in the MK world.

Could it possibly be a new partner for Boon? They could finally replace Tobias (though Tobias' return would have been great). Maybe a new developer to the team? Maybe the rest of the picture reveals him holding an exclusive poster/picture with 8's 1st look. I dunno...
