I have all faith in the MK team , I dont think they will dissapoint us.. look at the technology they have now to make a great game , I seriously doubt they will make a dumbass game...

Ed Boon stated a darker grittier , re-invented game , which makes me think of gruesome , nasty murders , all out sadistic mortal kombat....I just have a feeling that its goin to be the BEST one yet.... If I'm wrong , then I dont know ... I'll just stick to my Shooter games then.... MK is a great Franchise , but ever since MK 4 , it went all downhill with the whole cartoony look , and I think Boon knows that , what we see might be the most amazing fighting game ever , but you never know ...

actually if READ my post I said MK went downhill since MK 4 , yeah they dissapointed us with the new games , ie. MK 4-7 , but they delivered ... if this one sucks ass , I'm done ... wont even look forward to the new MK 9 , if that ever happens!!!

Haha, this made me laugh. I hadn't expected anything till later today or tomorrow, after Gamer's Day today.

If it's done by the clock in your computer, then it would make since that it would be an hour after eastern time (central time) since Boon is in Chicago.

Just for making us wait a month we should wait till the price of MK8 drops to $20. That should take about a month.

Yes it is. It's based on the time zone your PCs clock is set. The countdown ended 7hr and 20mins ago, for me. EDIT: I meant the countdown clock and not the actual time the countdown is supposed to end.

It has 37 min. left for me, and I live in NE, which is in the same timezone as Chicago, IL. It ends at 3:00 pm Central, which is the start time for Midway Gamers Day, as people have stated already.

I just switched my computer clock to pacific time and it still says 33 minutes left.I beleive in 33 minutes we will have an answer.

MK8 priced 20 bucks after a month, ha, ha not happening...

Someone mentioned EST so I thought it should have ended by now. That's cool. So, there's a chance we'll get something in about 32mins....
