Yeah ever heard of Smackdown vs Raw 2006, it is better and it goes online and no don't give me that "Wrestling games are not fighting games", that point is so void as wrestling is a type of fighting style. Oh and no it won't let you "literally create your own style" because you just choose a style and slap a name on it, that is NOT creating a fighting style.

I will tell you that because it's true, stop trying to hide under the wrestling games. They're not FIGHTING games and their KAF still isn't as good because you can't make up any KAF from scratch like you will in MK:A.
For the last time man, a wrestling game is considered a sports/entertainment genre NOT a fighting genre.
You're wrong, you're NOT taking a styles and slap sticking it.That's only the case if you're a lazy person off a preset. If you want to literally make your own guy though like I will. You're making him/her from nothing. You obviously know nothing of the new KAF. lol

Looking at the preset for the female character is awesome! I can't wait to recreate Kitana. I just hope I can make her MKII outfit. Classic Kitana with modern fighting styles (Eagle Claw, Tessen) and special moves (Pretty Kick, Fan Wave) Oh this is going to be so cool!

I'm going to create Terry Tsurugi, The Street Fighter(played by Sonny Chiba). In one of the Street Fighter movies, Terry rips a guy's genitals off, and pops another guys eyes out with two punches to the back of the head.Perfect Mortal Kombat candidate.

OK lets say wrestling games are not fighting games but we ARE talking about KAK in general, so that still includes wrestling games.
Yes it is slap sticking it. Unless you want to call adding your own moves to the style "creating your own style" because it isn't. It's like if you take tae kwon doe and change it to mostly punches, then that is not creating your own style, thats just creating a craptastic tae kwon doe style because kick are a major part of it. And no, changing the name doesn't change that fact. But if you ARE talking about that then wrestling games have that aswell

You're only slap sticking it IF the player is lazy and doesn't want to take him/her apart like most will do here and start from scratch. We have seen the vids showing both.It is not slap sticking it in the cases like Malone's character of Khameleon.I have played with him online, talked to him he did that from nothing.Slap stick nothing, the players that are lazy or just want to make someone basic will turn to the presets because it's a hell of a lot less time consuming.
And you ARE creating your own style, why do you keep denying this fact? You can take a shit load of little moves and make your own combo's literally then at the end of the day name it any style you want.
You're not seeing the big picture, you must realize that with ANY KAF in any game there's going to be a high chance of fiction involved since it's a fantasy character after all.WHo cares about Tae Kwon Doe in a KAF man? lol..really.
Care about it with the real characters like Sonya etc that have it.Not a fantasy character in which nobody cares, it's a KAF.That's the point of it, to make YOUR creation what ever that might be.
And no I've never played a wrestling game that offers me this much depth.BTW, you're assuming it will be majority kicks which it won't be based on the Demo. It's far from finished and for a little demo for E3, that's pretty damn impressive as Malone will tell you.
You also have to try to look at if from an artists point of view, we artists love this new mode and to players like us, it will rock.

You can make more then one, chances are infinite.Only thing might be this, Boon said there WON'T be a limit to how many characters you can make.Worst case scenario is that you'll have to use another profile, not that big of a deal.I'd rather do that and have infinite then have 10 characters only in the whole game to make, which is limited.

If it wasn't for wrestling games, we probably wouldn't have the creation depth we do have. Being the first MK specific KAK, be thankful we have the ammount of options we have. This may have been what we've all been wanting since MKII, but did any of us ever think we would be getting as much as we are? I know I wasn't expecting this much, especially after the lack of Shujinko's alleged customizability.
When I make myself in any kak mode, I try to make myself. Same outfit, taunts. Hell, I even give my wrestling/fighting style moves I actually use or can do. I actually make a realistic me, instead of my demonic alter-ego. I get a good laugh out of making myself in games.
So throwing a bunch of punches in a style, and renamming it to whatever is stupid. Whoever makes that would be stupid anyways. Their style wouldn't have any fluidity to it. Not that it really matters. The MK styles aren't that fluid to begin with.

I see what you're saying, the MK styles are good enough though. They're just not listing every single move with the styles, no game does that. You would be there for years lol.
I like the whole realistic gig to it, but you don't want too much realism in a video game, it takes away the fantasy value of doing what ever you want as oppose to real life.Know what I mean?
BTW, there were other games also before fighters now and wrestling games that had KAF's like Warcraft, PC games too many to name, sports games etc.
But I do agree with you with the whole this is a lot of stuff for the first time in an MK game, I think it will seriously own for many reasons, online with your KAF is just one of them.I can't wait.
What I really really want is the type of hood that haviks alt costume has. so I can make a Death type character or perhaps just a scary looking badass.
I think with the KAK they are going to look at every normal mk character and grap certain assets from each one for instance. Nightwolf bandanna, or reptile bandage mask, goro hair, Kung lao hat, johnny cage shades, jax arms etc. So that you can make your own versions of those characters and hybrids.

Do you think we will be able to create a masked guard. Like give us that mask that the wear as an option.

i have a question that im sure is on most people's minds. will the announcer be able to call out your kak name for example my fighter will be name Coolbreeze so will i hear Coolbreeze wins fatality! with all the things that can be done in video games today i dont see how calling out a kak's name would be hard for programmers to do.
