Aww thats pretty sad though, but I know if I get my PS3 it be for four reasons.. which why I pay that much heh
Devil may cry 4-DMC4- Cause i wanna play Nero dang it!!
Final fantasy Yes.. I'm a freaking final fantasy freak! lol
I know of the rumor of teh remaking FF7 on the ps3 so i don't care if they remake it or not I know its still gonna have Final fantasy on it.
Rest Mortal Kombat Series that surely be on PS3..no doubt in that.
Then there is Tekken which I'm a tekken freak on that too after all I still wuv my Tekken 5 *pouts* Dang it I miss that too .. Is Asuka or whatever name is better not been changed along her moves.. well i'm sure she maybe be on it. Only thing is hope her moves didn't change.
Well.. I'm thinking here... I know I been working up getting a PS3.. I know since i will be getting it.. I have decided to.. get the when it does come out and what others I will be getting for the PS3 and that is a postive.

Here is my take on Tekken 5 DR Online
I finally purchased a PS3 over the weekend and got a copy of Tekken 5 DR Online full US download from a member of Tekkenzaibatsu.com. I played a few locals in PA and the connection was surprisingly good. It was not perfectly smooth but very playable. I did experience lag when playing people from the west coast. You will see the ping meter down at the bottom left and right of your screen. Most of my games varied from 3 greens and 2 yellows ping. Anything below that is very laggy. I was able to land all my Julia’s juggles, but breaking throws was very difficult. The online mode is very unique. You can create a room or do a search. The star next to your name means you are the host of the room. The host can boot people out by highlighting their name and press the select button. You can have up to 8 players in one room. Once you are in the room you will have to wait for your turn to play the winner. Winner stays on the top and the looser will get bump down to the bottom. You can watch the live match on your screen while waiting for you turn. The game is extremely addicting and fun. The lag in DR is nothing compare to MK. The game is 1000000000000000000000000xxxxxx better than MK.
If anyone wants to play my PSN name is KnifeParty25 and my AIM name is PcMoney01.

The Hong Kong PS Store has both the US and Japan version of Tekken DR Online.
Well, thats some really good news. Thanks J/O.
I need to get a hold of a PS3 soon. I've been playing alot of SF3:3S online, and thats been my main gaming interest as of lately. But seeing that PS3's can be bought online for $350 bucks (www.sonystyle.com), I have a hard time letting go of this one.
You'll guys probably catch me buying a PS3 probably early next month. Cant wait to play this.

I see. And it works perfectly well even though you have downloaded it from the Hong Kong store?
I was almost downloading it myself as I read a yellow little sentence at the bottom of the screen stating that non Asian players would not be allowed to participate in online battles.
Is there any truth to that?

Yes you are correct, the game is reserved only for orientals. Caucasian players are allowed.
It works fine for me. I did noticed that with the US version I can not find any Japanese rooms. The lag would be horrible.

You can not place MK on the same level as Tekken. A monkey can easily pick up MK and play. Tekken requires a brain to actually play. HAHAHA

MK's juggle system that started in MKDA basically started copying from Tekken.
Tekken is way more realistic than any MK and it is hell of a game, I haven't played it in couple of years but I'll definetly hook up T5 and/or 6 when I get my hands on a PS3.
it's such a good idea to have maximum of 8 peeps in a room, instead MKA lobby gets packed with over 100 people when the limit is 100. when there's exactly 100 peeps in there you can't enter but when it's 101 everybody over-floods the room.

I think Namco is delaying the release again to TBA. A lot of people including myself have received a message when playing DR to download a patch. This patch prevents the USA ps3s to run the Japanese version of Tekken 5 DR online. The only way to bypass this is to sign on to PSN after running DR. I’m sure Namco will stop that too.

Fuck it. You're right. I'm getting so impatient.
Jade-OWN, does that mean that you cannot play your version online any more? I know you sent me an IM yesterday but I'm not exactly sure what you meant by it.

Luckily, I did not download the patch. The people who have downloaded the patch will get an error message preventing them from opening Tekken DR Online. The only way to get around this is to not download the patch. Sign online after your launch T5DR Online. I’ll talk to you about it more on AIM later tonight.
