Oh ok. I think I know what you're talking about. My pops used to use that crap on me.
Give me some opinions.
Ben, Dave... that means you guys. I wanna know if this is fully worth picking a PS3 up for. If not... then fuck it.. I'll wait till Christmas and my Birth day which would only be 17 days away. (when I get some free cash XD )
From what I've read, frames of low attacks are much faster making low pokes, and some long recovery moves much quicker. Sounds like another game I know ... LOL
I pray to god that Namco coded this good.

Well, I saw a vid of what's considered a laggy match. Shit, compared to MKA, DR has NO lag. Sure a few hits go unregistered, and hitboxes are off by a tiny hair, but nothing more, really. That stuff is expected to happen. The lag's like nonexistant. I have no idea why there's complaining. Too fast of lows? Wow, something to complain about. MKA has much worse things happen due to lag. It doesn't seem like we need to worry about the lag, guys.

If this was considered a laggy match, then WOW. Some people don't know what lag really is.

I'm still wondering about that too. And I hate having to do half circles and three-quarter just to do a simple move.

the star means neutral
and @ NAKM lol at the quarter shit at least in tekken were not stuck with a move list with only like 20 moves for each character

True, my brother makes a good point. Not only that, a bunch of the moves in the movelists can be useful, due to frame advantage and stuff like that. Plus, no F1 Spear 1 Hellfire BS, which I totally dig.
That match did lag. The players could barely use jabs in juggles. Off-line most characters can do 6 consecutive jabs in juggles easily. But then again, I'd have to see another "laggy" match.
Synik, the star is a "neutral". It just means to let the joystick go for a little bit (i.e. do not touch it after the last command).
For example, Steve's f,f+2 is a different move from his f,f,N,2.

Still...why can't combos from Tekken be simple like Jade's
2, 2, 1, L1, 4, L1, 2, u+3 from MKD?
Simple to do and good damage. The only combos I remember by heart were Ling Xiayou's, Lei's, and Julia's. That's about it.

Lol, Tekken's combos aren't really that hard.

I know they're not that hard. It's just they require precise timing to successfully execute them. Not like MK where you can miss one button and still get the whole combo in, lol.
Oooh thats nice to know. I want my Jin and Lee dang it! Oh wait I'll ask when it comes out if its better to go out and actually buy it when everything on it all tested and good and not too many glitches like MKD. Would be kinda freaky though.. go through few more walls and blind side you. I hate that glitch.

I'm just glad that Tekken is one of the fighting games that has little to NO infinites at all. I wonder if Ling Xiayou still has her f+3 kick and d+3 slaps. Those moves were so useful IMO.

That's probably BT (back turned), 1,2, f,f,N, 1,2, etc. It's used for her main juggles. I don't play her, though, so I'm not sure.
Azuro is right. Tekken juggles are not hard to do. You just need to get used to the mechanics and Tekken primary notations. Something like:
Ch. d/f+2, b+1~B, FLK, 1, 1,2,1~B, FLK, 1, ALB, 2
or
u/f+4, f+2,2, 1, iSW
may look confusing at first but it will be very clear what these juggles are if you play the game.
And Tekken has no dial-a-combos. Most "combos" are strings. The juggles are very free in Tekken. They consist of doing a launcher and then specific moves compared to MK:A where you use a juggle starter and then follow up with a dial-a-combo.
If some of you are serious about playing DR online, PM with with questions or ask here.

Well you know what they say. When you work for something you really want then you tend to care for it A LOT more as opposed to someone buying you it. But it's all good. My pops been talking about getting a PS3 because he wants Killzone 2 really bad, lol.
