I still reckon this is a rib. It just makes absolutely no sense what so ever.

Boon said the game will be darker, grittier and more realistic. How can it be realistic if they have DC characters in it??

That was rather uncalled for.

There's nothing so pure (either love or hate) as fanboyism, and I can emphasized. We've waited almost two whole years for any and all MK8 related news, and now we're inches away from the big reveal... and dreading it.

That shouldn't be. We should be looking forward to the next MK game, but instead the majority of the hardcore fans are apprehensive and fearful that it'll be the ultimate sellout on Mk's part....

That "epic troll" also apparently has ties to TRMK, Gamesradar, and a few other sources. I mean, c'mon, there has been rumors of a stupid MK vs DC game for almost ten years now, and I haven't believed a word of it before, but when relatively reliable sites seem to guide you to believe that's what it is, what are you supposed to believe?

... then again, all I'm currently believe is that it's going to be "darker" and "grittier"... that's all that's been confirmed. I don't believe any rumor or hype until I see it with my own eyes.

moronic douche. deception was a joke. not only one of the most broke of the mk games, but all fighting games. you might play a game to see a 5 second finisher, but i actually like the gameplay aspect.

Respect my elders? The hell you talking about. I have been on this website since for years but with numerous accounts. Im expressing my opinion. I am a DIE HARD Mortal Kombat fan but im getting sick of all the bitching about this MK vs. DC crap. I have too waited years for new info to come and If its true.. I will be FUCKING PISSED. So if you play for the gameplay, then why are you so pissed that it might be MK vs. DC? They said they would reinvent their fighting engine, which is what I personally am waiting for. If you're a "diehard supah dupah fanboy" then calm down until we get some news on the gameplay.

Also, MK vs. DC would be pretty cool. I don't know why everyone is so pissed off. I mean, the MK story is already dead after the last two games.

They said nothing of the sort. They said their sources were right... but they didn't specify what sources or what the sources referred to. It could be a versus game. It could have DC guest characters. It could be something similar but different.

And, please, just stop harping the MK vs DC thing. It's beginning to get annoying.

Hm...

I'm pretty numb about the inference at the moment. Although I will say that I despise the concept.

I remain patient for the hard facts however, and hope that the confirmation is that of an elaborate scheme to fool fans. I always appreciate a "good" surprise.

There is nothing worse for me than action taken on the basis of a bad concept.

I'm not on the fence, I'm kinda...dangling in the air at the moment.wink

I can see it now. The super unlockable in this game will be 60's Batman by Adam West who does the psychodelic batdance and makes the other characters commit hara kiri's.

Seriously though, MK VS DC would be THE worst game, ever. I would rather play Sneak King from Burger King on my 360. Atleast with that cheap nonsense it would get a laugh out of me. This is far, far beyond that.

Scorpion should never battle Batman. Sub-Zero should never fight Superman. And Sonya should never get into a catfight with Wonder Woman. Why? Mortal Kombat equals dark and gritty. The majority of DC (except for Batman) equals camp.
