NUKES: Told ya you could do it!! LOL!! While I have to agree with what Check said, I have already stated that your apologies and the fact that you admitted that what you did was wrong, redeems you in my book!

CHECK: I also agree with you about what Nukes did, but that's in the past and I think he has seen the error of his ways. He has apologized more than once. I think we all need to forgive him and now focus on this butt munch called Kodomotachi!!

CHECK AND NUKES: On a different note, I was messing around with Havik, Noob/Smoke and Ermac today and I was able to come up with a few things for them. Please tell me if any of you two (or Konqrr) have gotten these. Some of them are small, but there are a few that are the highest legitamate combos I've seen (except for Ermac). Here they are:

HAVIK - These all start with "Morning Star".

1) Open Air: b+2, 2~2, Spin Punches = 34%
2) Open Air: b+2, CS, 1~1~2~CS = 39%
3) Corner: b+2, CS, 1~1~3, dn+2, b+4 = 45%
4) Corner: b+2, Spin Punches, dn+2, CS, b+4 = 47%
5) Near Corner: b+2, CS, 1~1~2~2, dn+2, b+4 = 48%
6) Near Corner: b+2, CS, 1~1~2~3, dn+2, b+4 = 50%

NOOB/SMOKE -

1) Noob - Corner: Throw, b+2, 2~1, dn+2, b+4 = 53%
2) Noob - Corner: Throw, 2~1~3, b+2, b+4 = 55%
3) Noob - Corner: Throw, b+2, CS, 1~1, dn+2, b+4 = 56%

ERMAC - Starts in "Hua Chuan" with the first hit missing. Now, I know you guys have got a lot more damage with him than this. However, if I'm not mistaken, I have never seen you guys end a combo with the last 2 hits I pulled off here. If you have, I apologize again!

1) Open Air: (2)~b+1, 2~2~1, Lift, 2~2~1, b+1~3 = 50%

VERY NICE erik, im loving the noob/smoke combos, i dont know anything about noob/smoke so all of that looks great to me. your havik combos are of course very sweet, and i think check has posted very high for havik, like 80% or more. hopefully he will post what that exact combo was.

your right, those last 2 hits with ermac are your unique addition! and that combo in itself is unique ive never seen it. if im not mistaken, you can take a throw after b+1, 3 but that depends if you play by those rules.

also, you might be able to do a mystic bomb after b+1, 3 but i doubt it. not sure. check will have to elaborate on those.

CHECK: I know what you're saying and maybe I mistook what Nukes did by posting the combos on YouTube. I thought he had your permission as well. However, I figured we were all a family here and I stuck up for him the way I stuck up for you. Actually, the majority of the combos he's posted are MKDA characters doing combos on MKD. I did mention and still agree that what Nukes originally did was wrong and I still stand by that statement.

NUKES: How about you hold off on your combos until Check's video comes out. You can continue to work on them, but post them after his MKD video is released. And, maybe you can give Check a little credit on the videos that are relevant on YouTube. Maybe then we can all go back to living as one, big, happy family!!

BTW, Nukes...nice MKDA video you made. Pretty damn long, though. I had to watch it in segments. LOL!

P.S. to CHECK: can you please do me a favor and let me know if the combos I posted are anything new to you or have any aspects that are original to you? I've heard from Nukes and now I would really appreciate your feedback, as a MKD combo innovator. Like I said, if there is anything in there that is yours or Konqrr's or Nukes', I'll be more than happy to give full credit to one of you. i will add, that i never took credit for the actual combos, just took credit for these video aspects:

also i do create combos of my own. i made:

1. kobra 60, perhaps his highest legit open air, meaning no throw/otg

2. mileena 40, highest yet discovered legit open air, even after the game being out for 1.5 years

3. variation of the raiden 52

4. i believe i was the first person to post a legit open air combo going over 100%, with li mei, the 102% way back when, all the over 100% up to that point were all with throws or wall combos.

5. sonya 59 wall. ive also done a lot of work with the unplayable characters like frost and kitana and sonya too.

CHECK: I'm sorry. I see what you're saying now. About the Sindel thing and so on. I had to go back a few entries to see what you meant by "Player 2" combos. Now, I see what you're talking about. I was just hoping that we could get over all this and move on. Just know that I understand your beef. Sorry to see you go!! Please email me some time down the road (erik814u2@yahoo.com). I would really like your imput on the combos I just posted. As far as I am aware, they don't really use any of your tactics, since I really just do "open air" combos. If they do, again, please accept my apology and I'll be more than happy to take 'em down or just acknowledge you as the creator of the possibilities that allowed me to come up with them.

NUKES: I am not taking sides here. However, I'm sure you can see what Check is talking about. Maybe you should just remove your combos for now and let the dust settle. Once his video comes out, you can re-post them, I guess. However, when you do, make sure you give credit where credit is due and I think all will be ok. i will check your combos out in a little bit, but theres no reason to take them down, posting written combos out wont cause anyone any harm. most likely it has been found, so that would be the only reason to "take them down" but really no need, and not asking u to, ever.

the thing with nukes, was over, a long time ago, how it got broughten back up after all this time and caused more trouble than it should of, is just sad.. i never wanted to have to do this, but in return i never expected to have to, again.. and i shuold of just told him to take them down the first time, but as my problem remains, i have a hard time getting to the point with people sometimes until i get angry enough, i just dont want to get angry to have to say it, and just expect people to do the right thing. i dont know how nukes wouldnt think this would have hurt me. its not like i recorded it, posted it, then posted how to do it. if that was the case, then why would i care.

i just put alot of work into this, its not just those 2 combos, its EVERYTHING, its like taking something in the middle of the movie that youve already seen and losing interest after it. i want peoples upmost attenetion for this thing for that very reason, it took alot of work and more so time to put out.


nukes, i believe it was only 2 combos, 111cs inf and fu jow pai inf. i would appreciate if u please take these down and anything else i might have mentioned to u. of course there is going to be a section for all unplayable characters, but i can only speak for what ive done that happens to relate to 2 or 3 of the characters u were using. you could have just done their normal highs and not the player 2 combo and player 1 combo... they are just as good and doesnt always have to be about the damage espicially when someone else found it while recording for a project.

again, i thank u for your consideration. it will not be forgotten, i can only hope theyre are some people that havent seen them. thanks again.

its all over now. the only thing left to say, is a proposal, a toast, to a new golden age, hopefully all of us here in the combo industry can join together and form a happy, clean, nuclear family (pun intended). we should help and encourage each other and always ask if its alright to make a video of someone else's combo.

NUKES: The music was ok. I'm not a big fan of techno, but it was bearable. Especially since your attention is mainly focused on the video portion and not so much the audio.
The part you could definitely improve on is allowing the damage percentage to show a little longer. In almost all the videos, after you performed a combo, the damage percentage was visible for a split second. In some cases, you cut to the next combo before the damage even shows. I found that a little frustrating!
My favorite part was the glitched fatalities. I love seeing new things in a game that has been out for a long time. Besides combos, fatality glitches in Mortal Kombat have always been my favorite. It started all the way back with the first one where you could do Lui Kang's fatality twice if the first uppercut missed!!
Overall, the video wasn't bad. A lot of those corner combos weren't new to me, though. I've ALWAYS been a huge fan of corner combos and those were the first ones I worked on when I got MK:DA. But, you had a lot of nice stuff in there. Good work.


CHECK and NUKES: I'm glad this whole "you posted - you stole - you used" drama is over. Nukes, thanks for respecting Check's request to remove those particular videos. Hopefully, he will respect you more now and we can move forward.

good point erik. the next video that i do that is long enough to warrant using music, i will definitly use more rock music such as rammstien, korn, and perhaps ac/dc but im not sure about that.

i cut the combo percentage very close to the next combo because i wanted the action to flow very quickly. if you really wanted to see the % of damage longer, just pause your media player for a few seconds. thats what i thought most people would do if they couldnt see the damage quickly enough, did you try that! LOL

im sure alot of the corner combos were not new to you, but some must have been because i found them while doing the video!! such as kung lao 93, raiden 40, and jax 65, and even mokap 54 were all found during the video. and blaze 48 (found by juggernaut) was also never posted. did you know about those? they were never posted anywhere!!

the action was too rigid because of the interpolating de-interlace filter. a huge mistake on my part. i still feel bad about that. next time, it will be much better.

real quick before i go, i dont really have a controller no more, broke it while i was cleaning it, and a few buttons dont work, but i still tried doing a few things and one is that indeed scorpion can do 3 hellfires... while i cannot confirm the 3rd yet, he can definitly do 2 on the ground while holding jump with another controller. i did the third, but while still holding up and back, jumping forward or sidestepping is most likely avoidable for the third, but i will test when or if i can. ( will pause the game after the second one if i can, my start button does not work anymore ) ut us very hard to do 2 on the ground, have only done it 3 or 4 times. but ill try.. gonna get a new controller tommorow and see what else i can record before i send these i guess monday now.

weird thing with that and even blockbreak, but not all the time with blockbreak, but with hellfire so far, every time ive done it, its either been the first hit of the round or the last hit of the round. very odd, dont know if theres a reason behind it, most likely, not.

as you can see, its an infinite... he has no delay after the button pushing and the fire connecting. i believe konqrr already found this a long time ago.

sorry to hear about your controller, that totally sucks. i wish you could buy one online or something. i wouldnt use ebay again, LOL, since you said that is where you got your last controller.

I know that this post isn't going to be as cool as the others but I had some questions about combo timing. For starters I have the hardest time doing anything after F+3 in kempo with kira. I don't know why but I have an easier time doing a 61% for kobra rahter than that.

I played as monster today and found out his b,f,1 spear move makes him freeze. Even though it looks funky, his d,b,3 works as a spear move. I still can't find his flip kick as AR MAX redid the moves for him.

Nukes I got the li mei 54% to work. It was 2nd stance b+o, flip,flip,flying punches. Also i found out a 46% for smoke. if this is old news than ignore it. Everyone here got the game when it first came out. I bought it after may 2005 when I graduated.

My last question is about kabal's floating hug collision move. I have a hard time timing that also. My highest is only 63% becuase of that. With li mei I still can't top 62% but I did figure out an alternate raiden combo for 51%. Later guys.
