I have to say, after watching the videos of your matches against "Check", you rely too much on glitches and throws to win a match and attempt a "comeback". I applaud Check for his actual skills involved in kicking your ass. In my opinion, and others as well, Check reigns in the skill department. All you can claim is to have a very high % of damage in the combos you create. However, if you backtrack and watch your combos again, they rely solely on the glitch system and VERY few are pure juggles, ala old school.
I know I will probably get trashed for trashing your so called skills, but it's because of players like you that the "pull" system was created online. I sincerely hope that the Deception glitches are gone in Armageddon, but I'm sure players like yourself will find new glitches.

hehe, tell boon, someone fucked up, i was also messing around with certain moves tonight, and i noticed that after certain moves, u can press down at a certain time, and they wont duck, but will be ducking if u try to hit them, youll be standing there, and the hits will just miss you because youre really ducking, but the animations are off, way off... this is a major glitch in my opinion, and have even been able to it after BLOCK, ill try and get that one recorded, or both, but jsut press down after a love like d1 in tang so doo around half way, a little before their recover, and he'll stand, then just take another controller and try to hit them to see, and eventually youll get how it works, pretty weird. espicially for offline...
nukes i appreciate the offer for the site and all, but i think its better we wait till mka because thats gonna be huge, hopefully, to ALOT of combos, and i really feel as though the combos i already have belong to konqrr and i want him to put them up on his site, if u dont mind. this video has really brought us together and made us become good friends, i would hate to turn my back like that, i hope u understand.
its all a part of the game, wall combos and getting there, the concentration factor really goes by how many seconds u can concentrate for those kind of things, i use to be at like 40 plus seconds, ive gone down considerably to about 20 seconds if that, i guess it depends on the combo, but i feel like its the whole package and good u are all around. to understand how the game works you must learn everything that goes with it, this is what will always set me apart from every one, and i can live with that

well as for me, i just finished softmodding my friends xbox, now im going to go rent all the mortal kombat games and copy them to the harddrive, so i can enjoy MK with no loading times. also, i bought a PS1/ps2 controller converter for the xbox/gamecube/pc, basically it takes a ps1/ps2 controller and makes it able to be used on a xbox, its so sweet because i love the playstation 1 controller and the xbox controller totally sucks.

btw, which system do you do your combos on? im guessing ps2, am i right? the L button on the xbox controller fucking SUCKS, i HATE it, you cant change styles fast enough, it sucks.

you see, i was first exposed to mk:deception when it came out for gamecube, i had to sit and suffer for about 5 months before it was released, because thats all i had. so i hear all of these great exploits like insane shujinko flip kick damage, higher jade damage, special moves delay canceled by side stepping, i cant wait to abuse that because i learned the game when it was kinda fixed from those things. its gonna be so much fun playing konquest again! man for the entire weekend when i first got the game, i didnt fucking leave the basement almost exclusively, call me a loser or whatever, but it was some of the most fun ive ever had on a game, konquest for deception.

about the modded xbox im using, first modded xbox's are detected by microsoft and not allowed on xbox online, secondly xbox requires an active xbox online account which costs money, so i dont have an account, and my friends expired.

ps2 online is free, but i dont have a ps2 unforuntely.


LOL, mk deadly alliance, its cool that you enjoy those characters, but personally im ALWAYS either frost or hsu hao, exclusively those characters, i RARELY play any other characters. i know frost isnt the best, she is middle tier, but i LOVE her look and yuan yang.

about hsu hao, i LOVE his moves, he is high tier, he has the highest damage dial a combo and he has a great reversal.

scorpion is a great character, he has a nice glitch with his shove and hellfire, good thing you said you dont use it. and it would be fun to fight each other. id either go with sonya or hsu hao for a serious fight, but for laid back fun id go with frost, as she is my favorite character of all time.


oh, i HAVE played arcade mode, i play arcade mode all the time, for both games, im just saying i dont play arcade mode for deception all that much, i usually just dick around in practice.

yes silent hill 3 is for playstation 2, its also for the computer. im glad you enjoyed silent hill 1, but silent hill 2 was by far the best in the series, it had the best storyline, silent hill 3 was the scariest. well, i hope you can watch my speed run someday cause its pretty good, at least in my opinion!

hey, did you know that if a opponnent jumps at you, and you hit them with a combo, it does more damage than if you had done it on the ground? maybe you should look into that and you will get more damage for some characters that have big juggles, fuck you should try it with li mei and shujinko, i know i have tried it and it does more damage than normal! downside is that if you want to test this, you have to do it in a VS. mode which means they die at 100% damage, but that is definitly something to think about.

id be happy to record some combo videos if you want, although i dont record combos with free throws. ill do a few that i think are cool including a kenshi 56% and a li mei 111% very soon, and even a kobra 60% or 76% (if you took a throw at the end) and ill have them posted. ok? i use a camera in front of the tv, i dont have a direct input jack, but if you are familiar with my videos before, i got a new tv this time with a s-video jack so they will look twice as good as before.

yeah, that'd be great. Would really like to see yours and/or konqrr's vid's or anyone elses even. My favorite characters are Shujinko, Bo Rai Cho, and Ermac. I dont like to do combos with free throws or walls. My highest combo with Shujinko has been 89% so far, other person was not in weapon stance. Just a straight up legit combo. Very easily breakable. Im always ready to hear some new or good/high combos with Bo Rai Cho, Ermac, Jade, and SubZero. Thanks for the replies, as you can see im new here just performed it in practice mode... thats a nice shujinko combo man! thats good damage. however you should know that a guy named check has gotten over 150% legit damage with shujinko, in fact he has gotten even higher than that, but he hasnt released his video yet, basically he uses the 1,1,1,cs from mantis into shaolin fist while juggling AFTER the u+2 in dan tien dao, and he also used 2 flip kicks, its really amazing.

the highest ermac combo ive been able to do is around 56% or so, ill make one soon ok? i just changed systems from gamecube to xbox so im still unlocking all of the characters at this point in time.

however my favorite comob is the kenshi 56%, ill make that very soon ok? just give me some time to finish konquest! LOL sorry... you see im trying to also make combo videos for mortal kombat deadly alliance as well, and im juggling between making both,lol

Sweet.. However i am not a Kenshi fan by far. He just moves funny to me. I just dont like to use him nor do I find his combos interesting. The highest i have gotten with Ermac is 47% percent. Whats the higher one? Good luck beating Koquest mode it takes at least 10 hours of your life away :P Get to work on those videos nukesgoboom! Im going to try learn how to record it and post my Shujinko one.

to record movies, you can just use a digital camera in front of your tv, as long as your tv has a good picture, and i just got a new one with an svideo jack so hopefully it will look good.

however, konqrr and juggernaut and others record directly to thier pcs or to VHS tapes, and im not exactly sure how they do that.

first of all, i really appreciate the long post, but i just cant wait to get into what im about to tell you

oh jees, where to start, ok, im going to start with the worst

remember that red controller that i said i did all that 160% with jinko with? well guess what, it has NOTHING to do with the controller. it only works for player 2, I REPEAT, the combo only works when the controller is plugged into the second socket

everything that i went thru with you. floor combos ( the last 3 hits in the kenshi 90% ) DO NOT work for player 2. every combo on player 2 side has different hitboxes. ermacs 57% you can do on player 2 side, but it doesnt connect nearly as good as it does for the first players controller socket. i know this sounds weird, but i swear its true i even went and tested it in versus mode, and its the same result. all in all, player 2 moves faster and can do his moves more sooner, but is limited to the amount he can do combo wise, he can sidestep faster, block better, but in certain instances, cannot switch styles and attack as fast as player 1. player 1's side moves normally, combos normally, everything normally, but doesnt have the same reach and jsut has everythign the opposite of what i just said for player 2

i know this is really hard to understand, but i swear on my life it is true. i dont know how true it will be for xbox and gamecube, i have no way of finding out for now. but mayeb u can check for yourself

if u want to do that 160% for jinko, plug the controller into the second socket, then try, there will be no delay in between 111cs's, and you will see how easy it is. ( 160% btw, i do have 170 with spears, so jinko is king again )

again sindels 100% combo does not work on player 2 side

you know, with a modded xbox, you can load some action replay cheats into the games memory. you have to load a hacked .cht file through a dashboard for the xbox, and it will work, i play on buying a TV tuner and record some PROFESSIONAL style combos with the MK:DECEPTION non playables characters, especially frost, im pretty sure there is no video with her yet, but i know dananbab did one with kitana, so to anyone including you check, who is reading this, please DO NOT do a frost combo video as i would like to do one, and if you do it first then you will break my heart.

hopefully i will have the tv tuner soon, becausee i cant wait to record some combo videos, especially since people have actually been asking for them. im so excited!

oh dude, check, about kobra, i discovered this and i want to let you in on it. it turns out that his BEST LAUNCHER is just simply 4 in shorin ryu, none of that 2,cs bullshit. try it. it does 1% extra damage. you know how his highest legit open air combo is 59% no throw, 75% with the throw? well if you start with 4, it does 60%, 76% with a throw.

do this:
kobra, shorin ryu:
4,cs,cs,1,1,2,4,cs,2,1,1,3,3=60%

take a throw, =76%

highest open air kobra combo right there!??! you heard it here first!!

LOL check, i still LOVE deception, if not because the game sucks, but because the artwork is very beautiful, it has some of the best character design of any game ive ever played, and i enjoy that, even if it is a broken game man!

i know i cant beat your shujinko combo, but ill have fun trying. hopefully ill have a tv tuner card in about a week or so, then i can get some REAL quality combo videos. im still talking to juggernaut he might even send me his old one, if he buys a new one, ill help pay for it or something, i just want a nice one, lol. i dont know why you dont do the same, wouldnt it have been so much easier just to use a tv tuner card and capture and edit the movies directly onto your pc instead of worrying about that VHS bullshit? i would have hated to do that!!!

i would LOVE to capture the li mei 111% and the kobra 60%/76%. you will have to give me some time because i want to get a tv tuner for my PC, i would hate to just use a camera because i dont think it would do these combos justice, if you know what i mean.

if you noticed i posted that kobra combo above. its very, very hard to get the timing right. it does work however.

im also working on getting non playable character combo videos in. if you didnt know, there are character models in the game that are not normally playable but if you use a cheat you can get them and play with them. im going to work on a frost combo video, but i want to get my tv tuner first, so it might 1-2 weeks before you see the video. i know it sucks but i need the good quality! im so sick of this camera bullshit.

im positive, for a fact, even otgs are harder in the player 2 slot, you have to hit them before they are a 4th of the way up, on player 1 side, they can almost be totally up, then hit them and they cant block

if youre standing on the first player side, u know how when u backdash, youre player will switch theire backs to u or chest to u? well, this also depends on whether the combo will work, you have to be standing a certain way for each side, and sometimes they get mixed up when u fly under them, and they'll reverse. im POSITIVE u knew this already, but jsut some more bullshti added on top of it, u can be sitting there doing a combo for hours, and not realize that all u have to do is backdash . even after some moves, like shujinkos u2 in weapon, or his flipkick, he''l; switch sides automatically after each, you can obviously see for yourelf after doing the move.... but very frustrating, and shit like this bothers me along with the dumb controller glitch, which btw, works online, moves that u can spam over and over with no delay work like they do offline with the same delay when the controller is plugged into the second slot. FUCKIN LAME

i want this shit fixed in mka, fuckin stupid...

and yes u can beat that jinko combo, or at least do the same thing. man, theres no delay between 111cs's, and they dont drop, whats so hard about that? as long as u cs fast enough, in which u already cs faster in the player 2 slot of the machine.. now i could be wrong, but i swear i mentioned this when i first played the game on cube, that i do believe they might have fixed that controller glitch on gamecube, if i looked hard enough in the ps2 forum i could findit, i remember tellin m2dave about it.... i have no way of knowing, you and koqnrr are my only hopes, id love to know if this glitch works on xbox as well as gamecube. please try and find out for me, you can do simple stuff to find out. as in

^^ on the first player socket, the last 2 hits will not even connect, as ive stated, the second player socket has more reach and moves faster. hitboxes as well are reversed.

i really gotta get going, but last thing, that kobra combo, use kobra as the dummy, for reason, it onlt works that way, every other character, one of the hits in 2113 will miss

i tried out some shujinko combos in the player 2 side of the screen and i think you are right about there being less delay for the 111cs mantis combo. im going to try more tonight so i will get back to you on my success rate, im sure your right.

yep that ermac 57% is fucking hard as hell. i still dont understand why you dont use a tv tuner on your computer and record to your harddrive, so that you can edit and compress the movies and then share them with everyone, no need to ship out tapes.

ive been talking with juggernaut and he says i can get a tv tuner with good quality for around 30$, i mean this way you dont have to pay for more VHS tapes AND you dont have to pay shipping to send them to konqrr, you know what i mean? you dont need a high end pc or anything, so dont worry.

he means by 1,1,1,cs is start in mantis, then hit 1,1,1,cs and stop as soon as you switch into shaolin fist, its a 4 hit mini comob, but its the best juggle he has because he can switch back to mantis and do it again. personally i have only done this twice, but check can do it upwards of 10 times... go ahead and try your luck but check is the only man in the world who can do it consecutively.
