Wow, I just checked out the combo2 video. This looks grand!
Its MK game
it have 26 characters , 59 stages , all is customizable , i can change it to make it better but i need testers to disable bugs and infinities...
its like MKT 2 i still adding new fatalities and stages , there will be some new characters...

You do a very good job with this, its really good.
I for myself was into Mugen a long time ago, I know its not easy to change the stuff about the engine itself.
Its just to bad that my PSX Joypad doesnt work with Mugen, is there any way to get it work?

Yes i can make all characters and do with them whatever i want... if i only have sprites for all animations...
I think playing on psx pad is possible cause i read something about it somewhere... and dont ask about human smoke
i added new move to scorpion and he can do some nice combos so i dont want to make copy of him... i think when i will make smoke i give him completely new special moves...
Same with chameleons , Khameleons and other non useful boring clones...
i dont want to exactly imitate MKT i want to make "step forward", not "step back" and copy everything...

How would you like to work out some balancing? I have editted a few characters in Mugen before and MK2KB and I are pretty well versed in how moves disable in past MK games, not saying we would reproduce that exactly, but I know one of the things I love about UMK3 is how they balanced it and I would love to take that methodology and apply it to something like this.
I could try editting stuff myself or we could send you suggestions or something.

I would love to help out balancing and taking out infinites. MK2Kung Broken and I have gotten really good at figuring out the disabling and balancing methods used in UMK3 and MKT (and all the other 2D MKs for that matter) and thats what really allowed us to push the combo vids so far. I think we could use some of the same thinking that went into UMK3 and apply it to this to create something new and unique.
My question is would you mind if I tried tweaking things myself to see whats possible and maybe send you updated files (and maybe use a file comparing program to make update scripts or something) or just pass suggestions on to you or something?

This is pretty exciting
I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I watched that video. Excellent work so far man!!! Balancing should be fun, nice to see Dreemer and MK2KB on the case already. I guess anyone with a new launcher combo would need some move limits and disabling properties and stuff, right? Oh man this is awesome.

Really cool man!!!!!!! I totally support adding new characters but i wanted to sugest to put alternative outfits (MK1 and 2 ) , another quatin, does it run in DOS? because if it does i can probably make it playable for the xbox with xDOSbox .

For balancing I would probably go the route that the MK team did with MK3 and disable moves after a certain number of hits. That seems to be a really handy way to cut out infinites.
Also, some more depth to the damage protection would be good. Do you have any kind of damage protection in there yet? Where certain moves will turn on damage protection and whilst its on moves do 1/2 damage?

It is imperative that you at least reproduce the fundamental aspects of the game, like uppercut recovery time, how they land, how high they go, how they juggle, push back, roundhouse duration, how far away they fly, how high they go, sweep recovery time, how they get up. All of this is so important. The specials moves can be moderately to wildly different, that doesn't matter, but I must emphasize the importance on the basics of the games, they are essentially perfect the way they are, and making anything less rigid would make it worse. I don't know how to program it, but I can tell you what durations and stuff and where the frames should end etc. I don't like the idea of limiting regular hits at all, and being able to get more than one uppercut in a combo isn't a good thing. I'll DL it tomorrow, check it out and get back to this thread when I've went through everyone.

btw i really like Shao Kahn having combos its insane why dont u upgrade him and add more combos?also for the other bosses and sub bosses..

There are juggle points(14) , when uppercut have 6 points and it connects then third uppercut wont work on opponent until he stand up from the ground

Btw i love shao kahn fatality man its supreme i have to say some ting to u aboput Noob (now Im a beta tester aren't I ?) lol Make his shadow better instead of throwing the opponent make it make combos. second: when noob throw his cloud the opponent must not be able to perform special moves fix that. third: make some really nice fatality involving his shadow example: Noob and his shadow beaTS TO DEAD their opponen (use ur imagination) I really like the effect u adeed to Noob's teleport its really sick! Now about Shao Kahn.. For now all i can say about him is to remove his jump or make some special move with this sprite cuz is useless
