The plot thickens Friday, March 13th when NetherRealm Studios hosts a story centric edition of the Mortal Kombat X Kombat Kast live stream!

Fans should submit their final questions via Twitter ASAP! The stream will discuss the 25 year epic featured recently in the Story Mode Trailer.

Senior Producer Confirms Johnny Cage in GDC Interview

Mortal Kombat X is at this year's Game Developers Conference, demonstrating the 2015 sequel and its revolutionary new Character Variation system, and recently previewed Story Mode.

In an interview with Game Crate, Senior Producer Adam Urbano dropped a massive spoiler, confirming the playable inclusion of hotly speculated Mortal Kombat (2011) return: Johnny Cage!

In the video -- since removed for unknown reasons -- Urbano describes Cage's brutality as one of his favourites.

The classic Mortal Kombat Trilogy era finisher was first teased in the Mortal Kombat X: Next trailer. NetherRealm Studios walked through the new kombo type during their Live Kombat Kast.

Returning fighter Kenshi was also confirmed for the console & PC versions, having already been revealed for MKX Mobile on the IGN App. IGN also picked up the Game Crate story.

Scorpion has a head full of bad memories in the latest preview from DC Comics' hit tie-in series: Mortal Kombat X!

13th Dimension has a sneak peak at the print edition, reportedly on sale March 11th. Mortal Kombat #4 will collect chapters 10-12, featuring a dramatic flashback involving the origins of the ninja spectre and his ties to Quan Chi!

Also this issue - Raiden battles the ninja spectre and his apprentice Takashi Takeda. It seems the thunder god's dabbling in kamidogu blood magic has led him down a dark path - but who is the mysterious demon who corrupts him?

Scorpion returns to mobile gaming in April with the release of companion NetherRealm app: Mortal Kombat X Mobile! The card kombat spin-off will include bonus unlocks and has already revealed Kenshi via IGN!
