For those who've purchased The Kombat Pack - downloadable guest fighter Jason Voorhees has already been unleashed. For the unsuspecting public, a new TV Spot promotes the inclusion of the iconic Friday The 13th masked slasher. He's in Mortal Kombat X (in case you forgot).
While Kombat Pack holders already have early access; fans hoping to purchase Jason individually from online stores will have to wait until Tuesday, May 12th.
Jason Voorhees will be joined in the coming months by fellow Kombat Pack bonus fighters: Tremor, Tanya & guest character Predator [full story].
Fans with updated games will be able to get a hands-on preview with Jason in the Living Tower mode. You can expect to face the silent stalker in online matches, as well!

Affectionately dubbed Blanche; the old woman of the market will become an instrument of doom - continuing the tradition of disrespect already established by the Blanche Advantage achievement. Klassic Arenas Making a Komeback? With only thirteen arena locations, Mortal Kombat X has failed to wow the Mortal Kombat (2011) did. When quizzed about the prospect of bringing back some of the klassic stages omitted from MKX, the Creative Lead revealed it has been discussed, along with other unnamed returns!
Mortal Kombat X already includes a variety of "klassic" costume skins, adding more via DLC for free with Compatibility Packs and for moolah in The Kombat Pack. We also recently learned Klassic Fatalities will be making their way to DLC [full story].
Could Jim Lee Design Sub-Zero? Boon and DC Comics Publisher Jim Lee were making goo goo eyes over the freshly included "Injustice" Scorpion. A superstar comic book artist in his spare time; Lee redesigned Mortal Kombat's ninja mascot in 2013, for inclusion in NetherRealm's DC fighter Injustice: Gods Among Us [full story].

The UK based studio has been a visual representative for the series since Mortal Kombat (2011), creating memorable and iconic images similar to those released in a recent update of their online portfolio. Included in the update are design images of Shinnok, Raiden, Reptile, Erron Black & Johnny Cage.
