As noted; we will once again bring together sixty-four kombatants in a single elimination tournament bracket. Each result will be determined one fight at a time by regularly unlocked updates to the MK Online User Poll [located top left]. This means it's up to you to determine which character will defeat his opponents to emerge Supreme Champion!

In 2015, little can be taken for granted! A growing roster of kombatants means not everyone can make it into this year's draw! Mortal Kombat X will provide primary inspiration for fighter selection, while tabulated results from all previous tournaments will influence forced relegation. The top two fighters have been seeded at the top and bottom positions of our bracket - both former champions! The remaining fighters ranked in the Top 16 will also gain guaranteed entry into this year's event - seeded at the ends of each cell. Brackets have been semi-randomized within this system.

Criteria for voting is completely up to you, but as this is an annual event, we recommend focusing primarily on the current versions of characters seen in Mortal Kombat X! [Note: We always suggest voting for characters, rather than against them.]

Voting is key to the process, but we want to know your opinions as well! Get creative and show your support of a favourite character by adopting forum avatars and custom signatures! User Settings will allow you to select from hundreds of character avatars in the User Icon Library, or upload your own. Create and include a character signature, or edit the default template [below]. You can show your support by posting in the Fan Koliseum - the home of fantasy fights and kommuntiy forum games! Above all else - get involved and have fun doing so!

13th Dimension Previews DC Comics Mortal Kombat X #6
13th Dimension Previews Mortal Kombat X #6 from DC Comics

Despite its robust story mode; Mortal Kombat X leaves many stones unturned across its 25 year saga of war and redemption! Fortunately, DC Comics continues to fill in the gaps with its top selling digital and print serials. 13th Dimension has an illuminating preview for Mortal Kombat X #6 - where Sub-Zero is dealing with one of his secrets.

Sub-Zero's transformation into a Lin Kuei cyborg was one of the bombshells of the new timeline introduced in Mortal Kombat (2011)! Restored by Raiden during the plot of the game: the man named Kuai Liang is clearly haunted by the memory of his experiences. Sub-Zero endured cybernetic conversion, to being reborn in the Netherrealm as a human revenant under the control of Quan Chi! Finally his secret origin can be told!

Mortal Kombat X #6 goes on sale in all good comic stores Wednesday, May 13th! Note: The print edition contains digital chapters 16-18, written by Shawn Kittelsen and drawn by Daniel Sampere. The cover by Stephen Segovia & Rod Reis features Kotal Kahn and his loyal followers.

Mortal Kombat X Faction Invasion - Chaosrealm
Kano emerges as Chaosrealm Invasion Boss in MKX FAction Mode

Hello, baby. Did you miss me? The next Invasion Boss has launched full scale war against online players in Mortal Kombat X!

This time Kano turns his lazer sighted gaze to the goal of spreading chaos! The wanted criminal represents the ultimate challenge - one you won't overcome on your own! This will be a team effort as the boss tier threat pushes you to do what damage you can, before succumbing to nigh inevitable defeat or time limit.

Players can choose to join the Black Dragon, Special Forces, Brotherhood of Shadow, Lin Kuei or White Lotus Society. Representing a clan earns points toward player rewards and achievements, with every action in the game contributing to your clan's total assault! Use clan recruitment posts on the forum to share valuable boss strategies to help spur your faction to victory!

EDITOR'S NOTE
Is Kano a fighter associated with the Chaosrealm? Absolutely not. The odds of Faction Mode being a vessel for unannounced fighters were always pretty slim. Including Chaosrealm without material to support it is a dubious choice by the developer, but try not to let that get in the way of the intended game. This is mode first - and the mode is all about the shared experience of the community challenge. This is the time to pick an underdog faction and take the fight to the world.

Whose side are you on? Register to discuss the invasion on the Mortal Kombat X forum, or share boss beating tips with your clan in the Fan Koliseum!
