It has become a sticky thread, if that is what you mean. Oh and thanks n00b-Saibot for answering my question.

Any thread that is a sticky is an important thread and prevents other threads about the same topic popping up in the forum. It's like a "sum it up" thread.
We really don't know how many Elder Gods there are either. According to MK Annihilation, there were four (counting Shinnok) but, there were three Elder Gods in MK Annihilation. But, in no way do the movies correspond with the games. The Elder Gods in the movies had the power of the elements, which makes no sense at all according to the games.

From what I know:
Blood and Thunder 1-5
Battlewave 1-6
Goro Prince of Pain 1-3
Mortal Kombat #0
Tournament Edition #1
Tournament Edition II #1
U.S. Special Forces 1-2
Raiden and Kano #1-3
Baraka #1
Kung Lao #1
Kitana and Mileena #1
Mortal Kombat Collectors Edition
Mortal Kombat II Collectors Edition
Mortal Kombat 4 Limited Edition
The ones in bold face are considered comics within the canon of the games and the comics that aren't are considered comics outside the canon of the games.

Another important thing about Elder Gods that we need to remember is that even though we were never given a specific number of how many Elder Gods there were/are, we know there are much less now, because when Shinnok escaped The Netherrealm, he killed many Elder Gods.

That's incorrect isn't it? Shinnok didn't kill a bunch of Elder Gods. In Mythologies the Elemental Gods are killed, but not Elder Gods. I can't exactly remember so if you have proof he killed Elder Gods...show me.

Many of the normal gods were killed when Shinnok escaped in MK4 (not Mythologies). This was stated in Fujin's MK4 bio.
I don't think any of the Elder Gods were killed though.

Yeah, besides Elder Gods can't be "killed."
I don't think the gods are "killed" in such speaking, they are just defeated, and if they become "destroyed" they aren't really dead.

Not really "killed" if you think about it. More or less "destroyed." Mortals can be killed, immortals "destroyed." But, yeah they do come back.
I just have a different way of putting it.

No.
It was released exclusively for Dreamcast.
New Question
The history of Mortal Kombat states that it was an ancient Shaolin tournament that was once a competition for martial arts' honor unitl championed by the evil Prince Goro, at the hands of Shang Tsung.
Is that when the tournmanet was used to invade Earthrealm?
Did the Elder Gods make an agreement to use the tournament to invade Earthrealm, if victory is achieved?

No, the tournament was used to invade Earthrealm when the Elder Kung Lao was beaten by Goro 500 years before. THe first MK game was the 10th tournament.

Wasn't the tournament made to prevent against invasion of Earthrealm by Outworld? Once Outworld had 10 victories, they could then invade Earth, right?

Not just Earth because it's been stated that Shao Kahn conquered Edenia, the Vampire realm, Zatterra and other realms through the Mortal Kombat tournament.

Yes, Shang Tsung was on a winning streak for 9 tournaments. Then the Great Kung Lao defeated him. In the next tournament, Goro killed Kung Lao and the tournament fell into Shang's hands with the bidding of Kahn. Then Goro in the tenth tournament was defeated by Liu Kang.
But, what I don't understand is if another realm wins 9 straight tournaments, and then all of a sudden they lose the tenth tournament, does it restart back to 0-0 for both realms? What about if Earth won ten straight? Would Earth be spared forever? Like that if another realm wants to conquer Earth and wins ten times, they get Earth forever.
So much explained elements to the actual "rules" of MK?
