I never really liked Rain or Smoke before MK deception, but after seeing what they did with Smoke who is now one of my favorite characters, I would love to see Rain make a come back.

I just thought it would be sweet if they made Rain elemental and have water flowing in his body like Smoke had smoke flowing in his body, and Rain would have special moves that involve water obviously.

Oh man I loved using rain in Mk trilogoy. I knew a 55% combo with him. His roundhouse kick was awsome. Anyway he should make a comeback along with all the other old characters and fuck all the characters that debuted in MK4 to present(except tanya). Jarek, Kobra the worst ever.

I wasnt reall a Rain fan if Im honest, he was one pallette swap too many for me. But hey thats jsut my opinion.

I do however, think everyone should get a second chance. He has potential in his stoyline so there is room for him to return, but do we really want another 'Ninja' to return. Especially after Deception brought back almost all of them. Im not so sure.

In general, I would say no to bringing Rain back. But, if they said u can either have Rain or any of: Tanya/Kobra/Kira/Rayden/Scorpion/Darrius/Baraka.........I'd choose Rain anyday!!

I don't really care for Rain but I would like him to come back. I never really like Ermac but he was so badass in Mk:D so I think Rain would be good for The next MK game!!

I don't think Rain should come back as a ninja. I do see long black hair and a coat, kinda like Dracula in Van Helsing. for his alt, he could have a goatee and Edenian armor

If Rain is gonna come back, give him a move that acutally involves rain. But still, it would be cool for him to come back.

I like Rain. He isn't one of my all time favorites but I like him. I bet if he had some work done, he could be a really great character. I'm sure he could fit into the plot somehow.

I was impartial to Rain when I first saw him. I liked his round house kick since it was great to chain combos with, and his lightning bolt was actually a pretty cool move. It's nice to see that Raiden doesn't have to be the only character to do that. His story was too narrow and under developed though. After seeing him in Defenders of the Realm, I opened up a bit more because he had a cut throat attitude. I would like to see him return if they embleshed his puprose.

No. They actually did the reestablishment with Ermac.

I always found, and always will find rain as a palette swap with the most easiest and ripped fighting moves in MK history, almost all his moves are just the paraelements of other fighters powers, like Sub-Zeros (water va-por) or Raiden (weather).

The roundhouse kick was prety much stupid, but the repositioning of the nenemy is a good idea for a sideeffect. But the kick was horrible as a special.

I always disliked trilogy becouse of the full roster and the unrethought storyline. Besides, Rains "death" was confirmed in his ending, and | wouldn't mind seeing him remain that way. No sense in MK if noone dies in the great cataclysmic battles. But it is really isn't up to me wether he's back or no.

the only thiing that is 100% about mk is that it is fiction and if anyone says any thing about rain in deceptions konquest as a fact i will jump through the computer screen and eat their livers!

oh boy another rain in next mk thread dont get me wrong rain is one of my most loved charactors he should be given another chance but there is already like 2000 threads like this some of these threads should be about other awesome charactors that haven't gotten a chance to prove themselves like kintaro or chameleon or even reiko

Sure, he was just another ninja "palette swap", but for some reason I did like Rain & Ermac, it'd be cool to have them back. But first Sektor.

I want Rain to return.
Now that they have the technology to make him more than a memory saving palette swap, they should individualize him.

I've always loved Rain. He is a definite in the comeback column. I have a feeling we will be seeing him very soon.

Why do you think that? He has been asked ever since MKtrilogy. MK4-no Rain, MKDA- no Rain, MKD- no Rain. Well, I have to admit, that the other characters were more popular (like Ermac being back in MKD)...

I dunno, Midway (and mostly Vogel) has to impress me in their greatest way if rain is indeed in the next MK. I detested his whole background, omg, no drama in someone who is a slave to his own fate.

Well, they brought back Ermac, and he is good now. Considering if Kahn is back or not, and Kitana, I believe Rain will be back either to help Kahn, or protect Kitana.

I agree. I see Rain coming back to protect Kitana but with an agenda of his own, whether the agenda itself is good or bad could go either way.

Although I want Rain to come back, I hope they seperate him from all the other 'ninjas' instead of being 'the guy with the purple ninja costume'. Make him maskless or something. Also, if they HAVE to use purple, make it a dark purple because I doubt anybody really wants a manly Sindel running around.

You're right. Purple isn't gay. It's Samuel L. Jackson's favorite color and if it is good enough for him then it's good enough for me. I also would love to see Rain back.

I second that, dark purple is a decent color. However I still detest Rain becouse of several reasons concerning his necessity. Think about it, fighters that should return must have a decent reason other than being a fan favourite.

maybe he could mae a comeback by shao kahn makin him work for him again(if havik's ending is true) and then rain would say ''no. i want to fight for my home realm edenia. i am sick and tired of u making me do evil things for u. i am goin to side with queen sindel and join the edenian freedom fighters''. then kahn sends his minions on him. rain then kicks all their asses then escapes kahn and finds a portal to edenia and tells queen sindel that he wants to side with edenia's freedom fighters and then rain becomes a good guy. how about that for a rain comeback chrome?

I would be pleased if Rain and jarek would comeback............Rain was awesome with his lighting and jarek was awesome as well. I hope if Rain does come back, only his ninja costume is changed, not his body.........
