Mileena: Not really want her back.
Sonya: Almost certain she will be back, she is Boon's favorite female.
Kenshi: Has potential.
Shang Tsung: Maybe, as a regular character.
Sareena: She has potential, maybe being allied to SZ instead.

Havik: He has potential as well

Shao Khan: fuck no, I am tired of Khan being the boss. Let him die.

I think Taven, Daegon, Fujin, Kitana and Mileena should all return in some capacity. In my idea for the next game, Kitana and Daegon would be unlockable characters, working together to escape the Edenian prisons (Taven and Mileena would be running the realm) and plan a revolt. None of those are my favourite characters, or anything, but from a storyline perspective, I think they make the most sense. Personally, I'd love to see Shang Tsung, Cyrax and Stryker all make the next game.

3. Ermac: (Since he got free from Kahn, I wanna see what he'll do)
4. Noob Saibot: (Brotherhood of the Shadow)
5. Sektor: (Tekunin)
6. Dairou: (Mercenaries are cool. He's different somehow and I like the story)
7. Reiko: (Always thought he should'e been given more of a purpose. Like the design//re-design, one of the only favorites from Mk4...so, there you have it.)
8. Hotaru: (Most interesting "new" character in MkD. I had to be conviced actually...but hi8s story is one of the most intriguing of all the "newest" characters...to me.
9. Kenshi: (Most interesting "new" character in MkDa, went really stale in the latest two games, but still has alot of potential.)
10. Shujinko: (Most powerful character on the roster...would make a tremendous threat to ANYBODY is if were to become a "badguy")
11. Kung Lao: (Want to see him come back as the real "Bo Rai Cho" of the series)
12. Shang Tsung: (Best Sorcerer...the only one on the roster I can trust right now, with the power to improve to the point of all the "movie inspired" witches, or warlocks, or wizards I canimagine)
13. Sonya: (Favorite Female)
13. Jade: (favorite secret character, should be re-established as just that....a truley secret character..)
14. Sindel: (probably should die, but 1of 2 Favorite "Unique" Female Char
15. Nitara: (Story - Potential Character Development is huge)

liu kang = the champion of mortal kombat hes a cockroach even when hes dead he comes back in the games why? because he is a star charicter mortal kombat wouldnent be mortal kombat without him

scorpion, sub zero and noob = the 2 most popular charicters in mortal kombat and the original sub zero if you take these 3 out you might as well take out fatalitys

baraka = if you take out baraka you migth as well take away all tarkata

meleena = take her out and you might as well rid MK of kitana jade and sindel

jhonny cage = hes an original charicter and christ almighty if you take out the guy who punched a guy in the knackers in the first game then you might as well take out all the amusing charicters and combos

sonja blade = without sonja there is no jacks thus not reason for the special forces thus no cyrax thus no cyber ninjas

shang tsung = ok now if you get rd of shang tsung you might as well take away shao kahn and infact all of out world infact all of shao kahns army too byebye baraka meleena quan chi onaga etc

reptile = hes so original a reptilian ninja i mean how cool is that besides he has so much depth to him

goro = if you take out goro you migth as well take out the rest of the shokan and motaro in fact all the beefy sub bosses

kenshi = once again so much depth and potential and above al that hes a blind swords man for gods sake he is MK proof why you should not try t beat up a blind man ... cause he will kick your ass!

ermac: to much originalety to kil him off

quan chi = hes a freekin necromancer for gods sake

kung lou = hes liu kangs rival and above all of that BLADED HAT!!!

kano = no kano no kabal or mavardo infact no kira or kobra ... wait no lets be realistic ... no red or black dragon clans

havic = take out havic then take out hotaru infact take both chaos and order relms out

ashrah = shes so original and the only chick in MK who doesent have a serious case of cleavage of camle toe

raiden: Wow... ok you cannot take away raiden thats just gaming blasphemy now hes evil the plot to him is so much deeper

shao kahn = if you take out shao kahn you might as well take dr eggman from sonic or bowser from mario or radiment from metroid etc

and one more night wolf = ... hes just so cool ( smae with cyrax but i think ive coverd they cyber ninjas

well there all the charicters im particully botherd about i would have added rain but i personally am notthat botherd i mean sure hes a cool chaircter and prince of edenia but ... meh dont care that much

Characters I think are unique and have enough potential to stay in mk are...

Jax - Very cool character. The classic "tank" character with attitude! They could do so much with jax, Jax stays. Or at least the son of jack or something like that.... SOME guy with metal arms!

Nightwolf - This guy has so much potential its not funny! He has a mystic bow, spirit powers and supposedly can turn into a wolf (maybe not). He's got so much personality! Nightwolf stays. He can live on thru armageddon because of some spiritual enlightenment or sumthing lol

Scorpion and Subzero - Obviously they are gona be in it. Their the yin and yang of mortal kombat.

Kenshi - I choose kenshi as opposed to ermac. Kenshi is a blind warrior with telekenetic abilities, we don't need two of them, and kenshi's got more of a solid character description than ermac in my opnion. Ermac is a bunch of souls or sumthing isnt he? Stick with kenshi I say

Havik - Another very cool character idea in my opinion, the warrior of chaos. He can play the undead guy that always comes back, neutral or working for someone maybe. NOt trying to win a tournament...

These are my thoughts, there maybe could be more characters that would be good to come back, but these are the coolest ones I think

Baraka(personal fave)

Sareena(to new of a character, we should give her more time to develop)

Kung Lao(another fave, and possible replacement for Liu Kang in later games, sicne Liu Kang's officially dead. I wouldn't mind MK8 going off of Kung Laos ending in MKA personally)

that's about it for me, but Liu Kang staying or not, I hope we get another turkey voice guy!

-Taven (We need him for some closure on MKA.)
-Kung Lao (MK8 is now his time to shine! Liu stays dead.)
-Sektor (Maybe a massive takeover atempt. If not Ketchup, then someone from the Tekunin.)
-Noob (I, like everyone else, think noob still has potential.)
-Frost (A potential ally to the Tekunin, maybe?)

Keep Tsung and/or Kahn and kill off the rest
