Sareena debuted in MK Mythologies, so she doesn't really count as part of the 3D era.

Meh, I still consider her to be apart of it. Mainly because of MK4 coming right after and MKTE.

Either way, I hope to see her again.

I totally forgot Sareena. I would love to see her in the game, or at least playing a sizable role in the Netherrealm War in the comics. She's a great character with a depressingly barren unique moveset. But she can turn into a demon, so I'd love to see that utilized if she ever did.

I think MKX is so flawless. The only thing missing is playable 3D-era kharakters.

I think Sareena and Nitara are two of the most potential filled females of that era. I mean I love all the females but I think Sareena and Nitara could gain lots of popularity with the mainstream and become iconic characters in their own right if given another shot. *Crosses fingers for MK11*

Add Ashrah to that and I completely agree. Her entire story being propelled by the Datusha is awesome, and I'd love to see more of that.

The lack of 3D characters is a skid mark on an otherwise unblemished game - a big, unfortunate shame.

Many fans were waiting 4 years since MK9 (on top of the 5/6 from armageddon) certain we'd see a few of the more popular faces revamped. Some of these very nearly made the CUT in MK9 which makes it even harder to accept or understand.

As of now, it's doubtful we'll see them in X and extremely unlikely we'll see them in another MK game again period. I won't allow myself to hope next time, the disappointment is too heavy. Also, Boon's trolling nonsense is a massive slap in the face to all the fans which kept his company afloat and supported NRS through the 3D era.

The 3D era fans when you think about it are actually the most committed MK fans in the community. We supported NRS through highs and lows and found things to enjoy in even the lesser received games. To tease and then disappoint them, is a sign of massive disrespect to your fan base.

Seriously, some of the best times I've experienced from the franchise and this community was during that era. Deadly Alliance and Deception was solid games.

This. I sunk at least 50+ hours into Deception's Konquest purely because it was the closest I'd ever get to an open world MK MMO lol.

I enjoy Ed Boon's big sense of humor and his harmless trolling. It's better than silence! Can you imagine if he had stayed quiet the whole time, until April? lol

But I agree with you about MK9... I thought for sure I'd see Tanya in MKX, after that lol. That flop kameo..... LOL... Oh well.

I can just focus on all my other favorites such as Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Jax, Kassandra Cage, Jacqueline, Kung Lao, Kitana, ETC, this year in 2015.

Hopefully Tanya and her fellow 3D-era buddies will be back in 2017 or 2018 or 2019.

So...with these recent leaks it seems the chances for the 3D characters are rapidly disintegrating before our very eyes.

I want to hug all 3D era characters.
