A boxer, but not an actual one. Rather, an alien character that only uses his/her/it's fists for whatever reason, such as the legs not being powerful enough for a fight.

But an actual boxer could be fine. Let's make it a female one. In the case of non-humans, I'd find it interesting if we were introduced to genderless beings, with the announcer saying finish it when they lose.

Another idea of mine is a technologically advanced alien civiliation, possibly with spaceships and all. Technologically speaking, the only world other than Earth to use technology is the Netherrealm, and it's high tech aspects are frequently ignored, and may in fact be never used or even mentioned again. It'd be refreshing to have another species that strive on technology rather than magic. Those beings, design wise, could have certain features of the classic grey type, such as large opaque black eyes, diminutive height etc, but not necessarily all of them at once. They don't even need to look anything like greys. When it comes to their tech, it wouldn't need to be more advanced than that of humans either, as it could be primitive technology (compared to ours) or they could be no more or less advanced than humanity. These aliens could also be mortal, as pretty much every non-human species in MK are either immortal or have a very long lifespan (but likely are the former rather than the latter).

What I'd like to see is...

- An alien with the ability to absorb warriors and their qi. With the ability to gain a complete form in a human-like state.

- Earth warrior.

- A thief with ghost abilities.

- Plant Warrior.

- A cyborg built by Sektor with metal & magnetic abilities.

- A tibetan monk.

I wouldn't mind seeing a fighter with a back turned stance.

I would like to see a new woman from Earthrealm, hopefully of good alliance.

I'm not too picky.

I agree I want new Earthrealm people too but with a catch. They have to not be linked with the Black or Red Dragon in any way. No one wants another Kira or Hsu Hao.

Okay, so read this: an enenra that resides in the Netherrealm. Since he holds a grudge against Shinnok/Troll Chi, he decides to go and help Smoke, since he's an enenra, too (see his Arcade mode ending). He helps Smoke unlock his true potential and free him from Quan Chi's control, and in return, gains a new ally in defeating Shinnok (albeit temporarily).

I call him Yamiboro. I will upload pics later. :)

Another idea: a MMA or UFC fighter. Could make an entertaining victim for me, as I admit not being too fond of either MMA or UFC. Kobra could be repackaged as a MMA/UFC competitor.

Now for a new type of character I'd actually like, a blob.

A blob would unique in MK but how would fatalities work on it?

Also Kobra as an MMA fighter that would make me despise him lol. I'm sure there is better way too reinvent him.

The blob could be given custom deaths depending on which character beats it, or the other characters could each receive two special fatalities that only work on the blob. The same could be done with Motaro, any new centaurs and non-humanoids. Hell, it could even be done with the cyborgs.

Speaking of new centaurs, I'd like to see a female one. I would also like a female Tarkatan (and new male ones would be welcomed too). I like to imagine Tarkatan gals as being 8 feet tall. We need more diversity in height and weight within the non-bosses.

And MK needs a female boss one day. But I know that's not gonna happen.

I'd like some kind of female character that can control the opponents bodily functions like how their organs work and such, it'd be interesting.
Call her Sapphire or whatever.

A female Noob Saibot named Bony who totally kicks ass

A younger, smaller female character with normal sized breasts.

Someone like Talim from Soul Calibur or Sakura from Street Fighter.

As much as I'd love one of those I know we will never get one regarding all of NRS current female designs.

I would like to see a character that uses mostly nasty grapple moves and some punching too.

And i would like to see a character with the power to manipulate earth. PS : Would love a Shirai Ryu clan member called Mantis.

I'd like to see some more mystical characters. I always thought a Minotaur would be a great character in MK. It would be a great replacement for Motaro.

I might be alone on this but I kind of want to see a hard core pacifist in MK. As in he doesn't do fatalities just fancy finishing moves, no not like heroic brutalities. I think it would be interesting to have a character who wont rip his opponents head off and play it like a drum.

- An African female tribal warrior with the ability to manipulate the element of Earth.

- A Scottish Highlander with the ability to move extremely fast.

- A celtic warrior

- An undead night's templar type character from the Netherealm

- A demonic beastly looking mongol based warrior from Outworld.

- An Outworld Barbarian type character with multiple scars and who swings a large spiked mallet.
