If Scorpion did his fatality on a mirror with the flaming skull, that would complicate things.
D'Vorah's fatality would not work at all since the insects would melt no flesh.
No blood would spurt out of the head when Cassie shoots Scorpion in the head during the her fatality and hence no "blood bubble"
The fire on his head could simply die out when the Finish Him! message appears.
And besides Not everything has to follow the rules here when it comes to Fatalities.
