It's a bunch of tanya threads merged together btw so it wont always make sense.i haven't read the first like 37 pages lol but im sure theres alot of tanya fan and anti tanya fans in there. but everyone has there favorites and everyone has characters they dislike

Tanya was a Kitana palette swap and Khameleon used one of her moves in MKA. They don't count.

To understand Tanya's appeal, I think you have to go back to the begining...

MK had Sonya, the over all good girl hero.

MKII had Kitana, the mysterious assasin who was a good girl all along and Mileena, the overall bad girl vilain.

MK3 had Sonya (see MK1), Sindel, the bad girl who was good in the end and Sheeva, the bodyguard that, really, was only a fastest playable Goro.

(Jade was Kitana's friend)

Then came Tanya... the replacement of Kitana... the good girl from Edenia. Not that original but.. WOAAAA WHAT? She was with Shinnock all along? That bitch! Plot twist. It took everyone by surprise. And there, that's what made her special... the girl that had CHOSEN to be evil. Not created evil... but she sided with the bad ones for some personnal reason.

I think that's what made her not a one dimensional character. She has more depth (for me) than a lot of the other characters from the MK world.

I'm an interracial type of guy. I like my girls black or light skinned black. Brazilian Redbone Yellowbone thus Tanya.

Gameplay wise. she is irrelevent. Which is all I care about ( the reason why I wasn't shouting for her return.)

That being said, now that she is in MKX her gameplay will be revamped and most likely epic. So I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for her.

Story-wise she is relevant. However.. she is DLC so she won't be making huge splashes in the story. Kinda ass backwards here but I'll take it.

Really hoping for dlc chars to get alt costumes because I am not LOVING what we've seen of the current costume.

All in all, whoever gets included in MKX will be worthy of my hype. They haven't shown anyone I hate yet.

You will have an opportunity to play as Tanya, if you are kurious about the kharakter. Tanya is gonna be a DLC in 2015, indeed!

I think you could go ahead and purchase that DLC Tanya kharakter and just figure it out for yourself.

If you find out that you like her... fine, kool! If you don't like... fine! Whatever! lol

But personally, I think Tanya is special because she effortlessly kidnapped the ultimate super champion of the Mortal Kombat realms and tournaments, Liu Kang. Tanya is simply hilarious and epik to me, that's just how it is.

Tanya also has that intimidating vibe and presence about her.. she is aloof and secretive, which some people are possibly afraid of and maybe that's why they hate Tanya.

Personally, I don't hate any Mortal Kombat kharakter.
I am only truly indifferent about Mokap.

Well they've tried to set him up, with Mileena, and Kitana, but there's something about Tanya, that they don't know-

Didn't like her in Deception.
I played 4 like once when I was a child, so I don't remember.
I hope her gameplay is good in this though. But her costume is awful.

So how did you see her costume? Do you have a friend who works at NRS?

Or are you just going by the top we saw and not the lower body, back, or sides?

LOL at you guys telling the TC to read through all 41 pages of the Tanya Super Thread to figure it out. Fuck that. Who's going to do that? You guys should be able to tell TC why she is so great in 5 simple sentences or less.

I meant what we've seen so far. I doubt the rest will make up for it though, since usually the front of the characters is the most detailed part, but we'll see.
