Nah, I don't think it's him, he probably is someone with lots of connections that happens to be in really good terms with Kotal and knows Kano because of his background, not because of affiliation to the clan. According to "Salazar" bio, he somehow ended up in outworld and had to survive, I think during that period he meets Kotal and they help each other and that's why he remains as one of his lieutenants.

Kobra would never speak to Kano like Erron did; at least, not without getting belted. Blonde hair and ties to the Black Dragon are pretty much all they have in common.

I just would like this to be a wholly original character... as of now, that seems to be the case. Let's see if they can keep it that way.

Well, thinking about it some more, I don't mind if it's Kobra ONLY if he's purely a comic story arc. As for Erron being his own character...what's special about him at this point? The mysteriousness? Honest question.

But anyway, while I want Erron Black to be his own character, this is the first "Erron Black being a familiar character" theory that actually sounds interesting, mostly because Kira is not an expected returnee, like Johnny, and a better one, unlike Kobra. Still, as has been said, Erron Black is too big to be her, and a woman that big should be a new character, imo.

Why does he have to be anybody? Why can't he just be his own character? Give it a rest.

Many fans just can't learn from the many new characters who ended up being precisely that, new characters.

The only character who turned out to be someone else is Noob, and that was long after both he and Bi-Han had been introduced. Plus, Noob didn't really have a unique design that would have been wasted on a familiar character who never dressed like that before.

This whole thing about Erron Black's name having every letters from Kobra's, reminds me of the Mei Li Na nonsense way back then.
