I'm sooooooo glad this thread train went off the tracks. It was really dumb to begin with. Just throwing out a piece of logic here, but why would Warner Bros even consider buying Midway if they weren't planning on any more MK games? No offense to War Gods or anything, but Mortal Kombat has pretty much been the only reason to own a Midway game for some time. If (and this is a huge if) WB only wanted the movie rights, I'm sure they could've purchased them from Threshold Entertainment or whoever has them right now without having to buy an entire video game company.

The WB has already brought midway and it does own the mk games and there takeing mk9 off the drawing bord cause of the blood and gore that's it the game. This was on one of the cnn news channels yesterday. So we should all wright to the wb saying we want an M rated MK game.

On CNN news? Well, I just searched Cnn.com and found absolutely nothing about MK9 being canceled. I'd also figured to search through Google and found no headline saying "MK9 Not Happening" or something similar to that.

Because I found nothing on the topic and you're still not giving us links (because the website to any news team would also have their report listed somewhere on the page for us to look at if we did miss the news) I can only assume that this is a mere joke, and I can't believe you would make up a phony story to get everyone wild up.

Like I said before, if you're going to tell us something we should all know, instead of just telling us where you heard the information, you should link it to this site for us to go look. But because no link exists because there is nothing out there that's telling us the game is no going to be made, you can't.

And not to mention, as stated before as well, MKO would have picked up this information immediately if one of the crew members heard or saw this story somewhere else. They're usually good at updating news.

If CNN (of all places) reported this, IGN, 1up, Gamespot, Giantbomb... SOME other GAMES related site would also have this information. If MK was getting killed off by WB, I think that a franchise that's been around for over 15 years might get some sort of send off or news story somewhere on a games-related site. Since your original post, there has been NOTHING. Not even the HINT of a rumor or ANYTHING that would indicate that what you're saying is true.

Therefore, until I see otherwise... Something that even remotely tells me that what you're saying could even possibly be true. You're LYING.
