Thing is, I'm glad that they're not releasing every single thing about this game. Why get so hyped up about a game that still has seven months to go? What if no one really plays any other games? I know most people do, but, there are always the odd balls.

Well, you have other things to do to occupy your time such as going outside and enjoying the change from Summer to Autumn as an example. I just threw out the other games as an example that I'm currently doing (while also job hunting and drawing as well.)

Loads of other stuff to do to occupy yourself from going bonkers waiting for something to be released by these guys.

I do have a lot of things to occupy myself, but, MKX is lodged in the back of my mind, day in and out even when I'm occupied...lol.

Scorpion, Cassie Cage, Kotal Kahn, Ferra and Torr are still waiting...

Yeah, I agree NRS /wb marketing sucks.

In Mk 9 I am still waiting for the remaining vignette trailers. And the remaining bios in Mk: Armageddon...

How exactly do the trailers "suck"? They show the attributes of each variation and give us peeks at the X-Rays and fatalities.

I'll agree with this.

The trailers give us some info about the character, shows us the 3 variations, the X-ray, and a peek at the fatality. The format here works so much better than what they did back in MK9.

My only gripe is new characters like CC, D'Vorah, Ferra/Torr, Kotal Kahn, and even Scorpion and Sub-Zero don't have those trailers.

It's good that they show us that, and I like what I see, but the pace of the trailer is boring, and it looks like my grandmother is playing the game. Look as the video below, you'll see the difference, it is the only "quality" gameplay we have seen since the game was announced.

I wouldn't call that quality. Yeah they're doing longer, more complicated combos. That doesn't really tell us anything about the variations though. I'd love to see high level gameplay of MKX, but I don't think its necessary for the marketing.

All I'm saying is:

There's six characters that doesn't have Variation explanation videos.

Kill each week with that shit.

Then when everything is finally caught up.

- Start a fresh month with a character reveal.
- Their variation explanation video in the middle of that month.
- End of the month, early concept art of that reveal or a gameplay video.

This isn't asking for much, is it?

There's so many ways to steady pace the game's information, but I feel what's happening now is indeed lacking.

Purpose of this video is too show character abilities and highlight difference between variations. There is no need to make them with highlevel gameplay.

I'm fine with the slow reveals and stuff, because in a few months im sure they are going to start releasing/revealing a lot of stuff more quickly and it is going to be awesome. I think the wait is going to be worth it.

It may not be a need, but it would still be better to do it. While it may look the same to the casual audiences its not the same for the advanced players, so not doing it is just silly as it would create a benefit without causing any harm.

I still kind of want the full roster leaked about a month prior to release because we all know NRS will not show the entire roster..

I'd rather wait until the game comes out to find out what it has to offer. I don't want to be spoiled too much, and I'm concerned about how the game will turn out in the long run after its release.

I never said it wasn't, but they do care about the tournament community, don't forget Raiden was revealed at evo. So again, to the casuals it would be the same, for the tournament community it would be better, so why not do it?
