Best DLC character. he is actually more developed than many main roster characters. Very unique and creative.

It was a hell of a lot better then that Travesty liu kang becoming a god in his mk9 ending. God if that had been canon I'd of flipped shit. I already can't stand liu kang. Mkd kang I love. Hated him every game after that. So Tremor's was more convincing. And tbh I believe he'd be a hell of a good match vs Sub-Zero.

Maybe they can do a dualist thing with Smoke as well.

One Variation that would switch between dark graphene weapons, and light diamond weapons.

In general endings for arcade ladder in MKX sucked. I still think the whole Lin Kuei Meets How To Train Your Dragon ending for SZ was one of the worst in the history of the game.

Not holding Tremor's ending against him. Glad you're happy with him. I think if I give him more time I'll like him more, but I'm a fast fighter, the zoning of Tremor is too slow for me. It's hard for me to adapt. It's why I don't like Torr either.

The thing that stuck out to me the most in that ending wasn't the fact that Tremor is more or less being proclaimed a demi god(meh), but the fact that the dream realm is actually a thing for the MK universe even though it seemed like a plot device to explain Freddy in MK9.

Interested to see what, if anything, comes from it. If it grants beings that visit there near godhood, than how fucking powerful would something be that's actually from that realm?

I like Tremor

How in the world can anyone hate Tremor ? He is the best character in MKX.

It played a part, however small in Tremor's inclusion.

He was originally a ninja and faster despite his size. I mean he works with magic and is fucking strong. I can't see why he must be slow. They should make him faster like a ninja. So hes awesome, but needs to be faster. Look at Torr :D he ain't no ninja and don't use magic.. he can be slow, but not Tremor!

I think NRS did a great job with Tremor and I'm having a blast playing him. Hopefully he becomes a mainstay in the series, and is part of the MKXI roster.

The only problem I have with Tremor is that his Aftershock and Crystalline icons are mixed up when you're rewarded for winning matches.

Oh I agree. When I heard that dream realm thing I laughed. Straight freddy kruger stuff haha.

Aside from The One Being being asleep, the dream realm may also tie into the Native Australians` Dreamtime mythology.

I wonder in Enera will be apart of this and kinda fight smoke to be present. Kinda like hulk and bruce banner. Smoke being banner hulk being Enera.

I was never part of the weird, inexplicable "cult following" that Tremor had, but I'm beyond pleasantly surprised by how well he turned out. He's easily a standout fighter among an already pretty stellar roster.

I also don't fully agree with the "too slow" complaints. I was totally EXPECTING him to be slow due to his usually bulky design going back to his beginnings and his whole "rock man" shtick; but on the whole he can be pretty speedy with his combos.

The only thing about him that's really slow that I've noticed is the startup time to a few of his specials (namely his Ground Pulse and Rock Toss in particular, neither of which you'd want to spam willy nilly). Overall though, while no one's certainly going to mistake him for Tanya (speed/agility-wise), he's hardly the lumbering "all power, no mobility" behemoth I was anticipating.

Rock Drop and Rolling Stone make for really good pressure moves and can be worked into some fun chains. And I really like his Metallic variation overall the most: the added fire damage/stun properties from his lava form is really nice, not to mention the extra range you get out of Stone Shatter/Gold Punch in the gold form, which makes for probably a better projectile overall than Rock Toss.

His down + 4 normal "Low Shake" is incredibly useful in a wide range of situations, and the dial combo "Low Rumble" is a wet dream of a juggle setup, arguably maybe one of the very best in the whole game.

All in all, good stuff. Love that voice and the visual design too, one of the best of all the non-Scorpion/Sub-Zero ninja redesigns easily (next to Ermac and Noob Saibot's respective hooded costumes).

Not feeling him, I like his finishers though.

I rather take tremor and Tanya anyday, the real wastes of space are Pred and Jason. I want to play MK not have valuable space taken by crappy horror characters of the 80's

oh and im a big Pred fan, but i dont need him in mk, and The pred franchise has been ruined avp, avp2.

Having spent a good amount of time now playing with Tremor and against Tremor, I still stand by my original post.

He is a little crap.

As usual, MKO focuses purely on the superficial, aesthetic rubbish. Yes - he has fun finishers and brutalities - most characters do, I never disputed that. How quickly do those get old? You only ever see the same couple of brutalities because everyone tends to play the same one or two variations. Unique? Again yes - so is Ferra/Torr - when was the last time you played with them?

The problem I have is this: his gameplay is where he falls flat on the ground. He IS slow, he's meant to be a zoner but his specials take forever to execute so HE ends up being zoned. His play style is execution heavy and impossible to pull out decent combos online. There are several match-ups where Tremor gets destroyed again and again, no matter how decent you are. He moves like a grappler, but plays like a zoner, the two combined are a total mess. Plus, there's little difference between his variations - he literally throws different colored rocks in each one.

So FU MKO. If you spent years convincing yourself Tremor was the second coming of Christ no one will convince you otherwise now. Guess it's hard to face reality that the ninja palette swap you circle jerked over for a few years turned out to be slow, lumbering mess to play. Makes my life easier facing you people in ranked.

Have you considered perhaps that you might be being just as ignorant as you accuse them of being? You've probably spent years convincing yourself that he could only ever be terrible and then as soon as his play style didn't quite match what you play, you used this to confirm your pre-made assumptions of him being crap. I like tremor but I know that his style of zoning is not for everyone. Your opinion is yours to keep but remember that others can continue to like him despite his "crapiness" in your eyes

Sounds like someone doesn't understand how Tremor works...cause I've taken a few beatings from him online, and I'm by no means a novice player. The best? No, but better than average. Tremor is only slow and lumbering if you're playing him incorrectly. I had a guy constantly in my face as Tremor, putting so much pressure on me, and anticipating my every counter. He didn't zone me out either...he actually used his specials to set up some pretty nasty combo strings.

Learn to play him, and you may change your opinion. But just because he doesn't suit your playstyle and you're personally not able to dominate with him, doesn't mean he's 'crap'.

And, yeah, you're last paragraph really robs you of any objectivity and credibility. You clearly have a pre-defined notion and attitude towards the character...and it shows, painfully. You don't like him, don't play him. Easy.

I really don't get the slow comments. Tremor doesn't feel slow to me, despite his size. I may be would have taken him like he was before rather then upgrading him but it works. He is after all unique which is what I want. I hope he returns in future games as part of the story and main roster and not just DLC
