Those fucking Krypt scares

Anybody else get caught off guard? I kinda wish they didn't have them in the game, I get that they're just simple QTEs but still its kind of nerve wracking while exploring the Krypt.

Totally, I jumped in my chair. It took me enough time to compose myself that I didn't even realize I was supposed to be hitting buttons to kill them, lol ... I'm definitely on edge exploring the Krypt, but I like it.

Lol tell me about it, the first spider that jumped out I jumped in my chair as well and kind of mashed all of the action buttons, for the first one I encountered inside of the spider den I actually was able to maintain my composure and hit the right button. Worst 350 koins I've made so far haha

Even after the first one I would keep getting fucking shocked lol. I hate exploring like a really dark part of the krypt then one just pops up fuck it kills me. I hate it tbh I wish there was an option to turn them off lol

I like being scared. Horror wise. I don't like jump scares as they're just lazy and repetitive.

Question: does anyone know if the jump scares happen in set places or if it's completely random?

It seems semi-random. In Kahn's tomb the zombies only seem to happen at corners where there is blood for them to jump out of. The Spiders in the caves seem totally random (and annoyingly frequent). The wolves in the outside cemetery also seem random, but are thankfully less common.

The wolves seemed to be coming out of a hole in the gate, I got two in a row. I get spamed to death by the spiders.

See I knew these would be aggravating. I'm a headphones user so honestly I just take them off so I don't have a heart attack or anything. So far I just got one dog though.

Yeah the spiders are maddening. They are almost constant and I nearly always panic and hit the wrong button. I wish they could be turned off since the coins aren't worth the hassle. I jump every damn time.

The only reason they put those jump scares in the krypt is to get back at us like they did in mortal kombat8 luckly I just bought the unlock everything in the krypt pack so I won't have to go through thoses Jump scares

I went back in today because I had ~70k coins to spend, and I found that if I put some metal music on it relieves the stress of the jump scares haha

The more they happen, the more I'm prepared for them. I think I've only run into the spiders so far though. I'm trynig to clear out their area first before moving past the frozen graves.

This is my general strategy as well. I unlock one area before moving on to another.

I'm the exact opposite. The first one I got was a wolf and it didn't even scare me at all because the camera gives it away a good half second before it happens.

I absolutely shit my pants the first few times!
This is the best Krypt.... its a pointless little minigame by all accounts, but I enjoyed it none the less.
