Agreed

I personally liked Deadly Alliance and Deception, so for me the franchise never really took a break. BUT... I realize as far as the mainstream goes, it fell out of prominence for a lot of years before MK9 brought loads of people back in on the nostalgia wagon...

That said, MKX does look like a very well crafted game thus far, and with the roster reveals so far, it definitely seems like they're trying to keep enough nostalgia to keep those folks on board, while still injecting some new life into the series.
