Iconic doesn't necessarily mean classic horror movie villain. So I think Spawn could be a contender as well. I think Spawn would be perfect for this game.

As for who the other guest, I think Ash Williams is the best choice. Variation wise I think he'd be the most interesting. Plus with intro dialogue he'd be so funny.

I hate Ash. I wouldn't be surprise if he's chosen considering that new Evil Dead show that's coming out this fall. Ew.

How anyone can hate Ash Williams is beyond me but to each their own. Ash would be awesome and I have a feeling Jason will be the other guest considering we're having 3 Friday the 13ths this year. It has to happen.

Spawn would be awesome. The whole thing about Image Comix was giving creative rights to artists. So they'd have to deal with Todd McFarlane correct? I heard he is a total douchebag. Hopefully thats inaccurate tho.

Sweet Tooth seems like a bad decision. He drives an Ice Cream truck. He occasionally has a chainsaw. What kinda specials would he have? Is there enuff here for THREE variations? I doubt it. If we do get console X-clusives (see what I did there?) Its going to be Kratos again for Ps4, eventho Boon said unlikely. Remember, "unlikely" doesnt mean NO. Now that the game is just about done, I think NRS will revisit the idea of X-clusives.

I'm personally rooting for Ryu from Street Fighter. After the initial announcement of MKX, Boon made quite a few "random" tweets of Ryu. I think its even documented here @MKO somewhere. It seemed to mean nothing back then, but maybe Ryu was on his brain cuz he'd been having meetings with CapCom reps at that time. Imagine how awesome NRS could make him. Then maybe all the SF fanboys would finally realize how stale he's been over the last 20 years.

Jason I'm fine with, only because I'm a HUGE Friday The 13th slasher fanatic.

I loved the original Evil Dead and the reboot. Didn't care much for ED2 or Army Of Darkness.

If it has to be a 'horror movie icon', then I hope its.. hmm.. no one. (i tried to think of someone but couldnt)

If we're getting horror icons, then the only acceptable ones are Jason, Ash and Pinhead.

I really dont know who has the higher chance.

Jason is more popular than both, but Ash and Pinhead both talk, Would Jason just say nothing during the intros?

I think Pinhead would be interesting in dialogues, especially with Netherrealm characters

I never said either guests had to be horror icons, they're mostly what came to mind.

Conker: Despite his size, his hitbox should be the same as everyone else's, so when Scorpion's spear catches him, he'll suddenly be in the air, even if he was on the ground. Special moves or fatalities need to include the golden shower.

I'd be cool with ash, pinhead and predator. They fit and the intros/variations could be cool.

Characters like Jason, Ash and Predator are good choices but they are unlikely not to be in MKX if you ask me.

Predator - Own by Fox, Sega has the video game rights to both Alien and Predator. NRS would have to work with both Fox and Sega to use Predator. I'm not sure if WB and NRS will able to work through the license by both companies.

Ash - Likely never going to happen since Sam Raimi does not like other people using his characters. He told New Line Cinema no to having Ash to be in Freddy vs. Jason 2. I doubt he will allow NRS have Ash get killed in a fighting game by other characters.

Jason - In the hands of Paramount now. Disney and Paramount are Warner Bros biggest rival companies.

Spawn would be cool if Todd McFarland is okay with it. I doubt DC will care since Image is not a major comic company unlike Marvel. Geralt from The Witcher series would be one of my guesses for the guest fighter since both MKX and The Witcher 3 are being released by Warner Bros in the US. It would be a good way to promote both games.

If Predator and/or Spawn were in, I definitely wouldn't complain. Jason too.

I really don't want to see another horror film character. Spawn would be awesome. I'm surprised nobody mentioned Raizo from Ninja Assassin. He would fit perfectly in the world of Mortal Kombat. Plus they can use him because the movie is from WB.

Jason and Predator are the most suitable choices.

It doesn't have to be a Warner bros property but one of them most likely is for the advertising. Sega owning the game rights to predator makes it more trouble than it's worth though, that's disappointing. Ash has a good chance though, I think.

Only ones I can see being guests are:

Mad Max: There's the new Mad Max movie and tie-in game coming out this year and both are done by WB.

Talion: Shadow of Mordor is one of WB's best new-gen games and has proved to be quite a hit from what I've seen and heard; plus Boon has tweeted about the game a few times.

Arkham Knight: Is said to be a main villain in Batman: Arkham Knight out in June (published by WB), and the character was created by Rocksteady especially for the game so it could potentially be used in MKX because the Arkham Knight isn't a DC character, the character (like the game) would belong to WB & Rocksteady.

Ash Williams: There's the "Ash vs Evil Dead" series coming out later this year and Boon has tweeted about it and made references about Ash on Twitter.

Jason: A new Friday the 13th movie and a Friday the 13th game are both being worked on, also Boon has made references about him & tweeted about him a lot on Twitter.

Sweet Tooth: Boon keeps on making references & tweets about him.

Predator: There's a sequel movie in the works, though it's backed by Fox; Boon has tweeted about Predator a lot and has stated how he'd like to have the character as a guest character in a MK game.

Personally I'd be fine with Mad Max, Ash, Predator, Sweet Tooth or Jason; I would be ecstatic if Ash was one of the two and if he was I wouldn't care at all who the second guest was.

He's also said he'd like to see a mk vs sf lol. If ash was in I would be hyped as long as he's voiced by Campbell. I didn't know boon tweeted about evil dead though, at least he knows what's up.
