Have we seen any female Tarkata?

Maybe they're like Gorons, genderless but appear "male" and grow out of rocks.

They show one in Baraka's MK9 ending.

Proof? Source? Argument even?

there is none man, thats what gets me scratching my head...all the crap people that died had no reason 2 come back other then to placate the neckbeard nostalgia 90s freaks.... Baraka lives, contributes yet...hes set not to come back?

You realize that Baraka's from MK2, right? If they were really trying to placate 90's fans, wouldn't he, one of the most iconic characters from the trilogy era, be in as well?

Look, I want him in the game as much as anyone, but if he takes a game off, he takes a game off. Just makes me want to see him in the next game all the more. I think that several characters could use that.

I will say though. It really sucked when I saw that in-game picture of a Tarkatan and while not convinced it was him, still kinda figured. But again, what can ya do?

Baraka is in the game, no doubt, only question is...is he playable?

Maybe you can accept it but I sure can't.

-Not with Quick and Simple Brutalities in play
-Not when the fatalities are flashier and gorier than ever
-Not the one game where he AND Mileena can actually be important threats for a good chunk of the story instead of the jobbers they were in 9 (Seriously thanks for dying Shao Kahn, Don't miss you one bit)
-Not with a roster so laughably low on playable villains.
-Not when he's the ONE guy on the achievements list that isn't playable.
-Not when he looks better than he's ever looked before.

He doesn't even look like a generic buff Tarkatan in Baraka clothes anymore. He looks like the elite freakish looking scrapper he always should have been.

I feel too strongly about this to simply let it go.

EDIT: Oh and by the way that weird picture in the Lin Kuei temple? Bet you that's Liu Kang's Dragon fatality really close up.
