It's a relief to know that Tanya has finally been konfirmed to be playable for the first time in years. Now, I can just relax and wait for MKX in komplete and utter peace.

I feel happy and kontent and peaceful about Tanya's inklusion in the epik new game.

I think Tanya is funny and badass. She is meant to be somewhat of a troll-ish kharakter.

Yes, Tanya's face and bangs are weird, and people are wondering how and why. lol But the question now is... who's face isn't weird, in MKX?
At this point, it's just kute and endearing how messy some of the kharakters are.

That simple yet extremely epik and amazing DLC kharakter reveal was so freaking great. LOL

I look foward to playing as Tanya in MKX.

I really hope Tanya has a skin that looks like Anck Su Namun (Patricia Velasquez) from the Mummy. I actually hope her final design looks like that or cleopatra. The Egyptian look for Tanya would be badass.

A few weeks ago, I was anxiously wondering about Tanya's fate.

Well, it's official, Tanya survived MK9!!!!! She will throw so many punches and kicks and boomerangs, in MKX!

The main roster of MKX is not ready for this epik DLC.

Not liking her costume has nothing to do with being ungrateful towards her inclusion.

After watching that teaser probably 50+ times, I really like the costume, but I do like the edit I've seen with black trim, in addition to the gold and purple. I think that is a better combination.

So what variations do you guys think she'll have?

I was thinking one of her variations might focus on her cannondrill attacks. Maybe a cannondrill which can be done in the air to the ground, and an anti air drill which just goes up vertically or at an angle.

Another might focus on her pink fireballs. The last could be her bone crunching, neck snapping specials, or perhaps the boomerang which so many want to see back...

I want a Boomerang variation with multi directional boomerangs, and the ability to throw both in different directions simultaneously and choose when to call them back.

A fireball one with special properties like stun, and maybe a chargeable/cancelable one. Antiair and air able fireballs.

Maybe something that's trickier/counterzoning with invisibility, projectile absorption (maybe alters moves properties)

wasnt there something we heard last year (when we thought it was just rumours) that tanyas xray may be a version of her neck snap bonebreak move in MK4?

i kinda hope she has some Kobu justsu moves. i know she only had them for the benefit of a weapon in the deception/armageddon games but they seemed pretty cool for her

Hoping Tanya might have a better themed weapon like twin flaming khopeshs, those Egyptian swords

Thought I'd share something I started on about a week ago. Had no idea Tanya was gonna be in MKX but did this concept of her out of boredom.

Happy for the fans, disappointed to say the least for common fans of the franchise. There's absolutely zero about her that really stands out. You would think that out of all the characters they could choose, they would pick a unique one. Especially given the variations system and characters already in.

I guess they needed a female in with the other 3 males, but that shouldn't be forced in my opinion. Out of all the females post MK trilogy, only Frost is unique. Tanya's staple moves with boomerangs, invincibility and breakers are already used by others. Maybe they can come up with some unique stuff, since Tremor also started a copy ninja / palette swap, but I just don't see it.

I know it's DLC and we don't need to buy them, I can think of 10-15 characters who are unique and bring a lot more diversity and potential to the table. Sex of the characters should not be a thing in deciding characters either. I'm 100% convinced if Tanya were male, she would not make it.

Lastly, her name also screams boring earthling and black girl from the block.

the middle section looks great though. and so does the hair.

If they JUST started working on Tanya this past month they better work overtime to make her bad ass, cuz we've been wanting her back since MK9. I'll be over it if the Tremor fan boys hounding Netherrealm studios 24/7 with that damn petition, had anything to do with lessening what can be greatness for an already established character. She's somebody who is deserving of them taking their time with.

The more I look at Tanya's new look, the more I love it.

Tanya looks super fit and tough and mad and badasss. She looks like a foking legend. She will punch everyone in MKX.
