I wanted to make a thread to discuss what the possible inaudible dialogues could be. I want to hear your ideas because I think they have been cut out in an effort to not disclose story driven material.

Ferra: "{To Torr} Do you remember lightning man?"
Torr: "*Roars*"
Raiden: "[Silver Queen/ or Queen Ferra] I can help you."
Ferra: "Yeah you talk, [destroyer of realms]."

-Raiden appears to be referring to Ferra as something that they don't want you to know of.

-Ferra seems to think that Raiden is pretty shitty at helping people. Perhaps calling him out of some chain events from the end of MK9?

Kano: "[I killed] your mother."
Cassie Cage: "[Now I will kill you]"

-Inaudible so as to not expose Sonya's Demise.

(this could be Mother or Father)

Kano: "[Going to run off to daddy] again.[?]"
Cassie Cage: "[F*ck you] don’t try it with me!"

-Inaudible so as not to expose Johnny's appearance.
(this could be daddy or mommy)

-I think curses would also show up as inaudible.

Also; if you think that the inaudible dialogues are plainly that the listener could not hear the words then say it.

Personally by looking at the location of some of the inaudibles it screams at me that they are trying to cover up pertinent information to the story.

Especially this one: (there just isnt enough context clues to draw a conclusion). But It might be fun to try an decode it anyway.

Kano: "[Inaudible]"
Kotal Kahn: "[Inaudible] joining of the realms."

Where are people getting these intro quotes from? Does another site have new video from a recent convention or something?

DIALOGUES

For anyone who can't find them:

Kano: "You talk too much, Torr."
Ferra: “You can't hear Torr!"
Kano: "Whatever."

Raiden: "Sub-Zero..."
Sub-Zero: "Fear their powers Raiden."
Raiden: "That is my challenge...”

D'Vorah: "Your times passed [Inaudible]."
Sub-Zero: "My day is finally dark."

Kano: "Bedtime baby."
Cassie Cage: "Ha, you'll be the one taking a nap."
Kano: "*spits* COME TO ME!"

Scorpion: "You must restore my family!"
Raiden: That ship has sailed."

Ferra: "{To Torr} Do you remember lightning man?"
Torr: "*Roars*"
Raiden: "[Inaudible] I can help you."
Ferra: "Yeah you talk, [Inaudible]."

Raiden: "Step aside cretin!"
D'Vorah: The emperor suggests YOU do it!"
Raiden: "I do not heed the emperor."

D'Vorah: "It's time for you now Raiden."
Raiden: "I can protect you D'Vorah."
D'Vorah: "Protection? It's pointless!"

Cassie Cage: "Scum...”
Kano: "Babe, first swing is on me."
Cassie Cage: "You’re full of it!”

D'Vorah: "[Inaudible] Kotal Kahn.”
Kotal Kahn: "[Inaudible] not angry with you."
D'Vorah: "How can I [Inaudible] don’t listen [Inaudible].”

Kano: "[Inaudible]"
Kotal Kahn: "[Inaudible] joining of the realms."

Kano: "[Inaudible] again."
Cassie Cage: "[Inaudible] don’t try it with me!"

Kano: "[Inaudible] your mother."
Cassie Cage: "[Inaudible]"

D'Vorah: "Your [Inaudible] nemesis.”
Scorpion: "[Inaudible]"
D'Vorah: "Ignorant just as [Inaudible]."

D'Vorah: "Kotal....”
Kotal Kahn: "With which face do you see me?"
D'Vorah: "There is no other power greater than ours!”

The Kombat Tether went to EGX the other day and managed to get these.

I had posted them, unfortunately my thread got locked for dumb reasons.

The inaudible parts are really what they are, they didn't hear it when they were playing the game (they had mentioned this when they were giving the info). However, your interpretations I can see them saying that.

hmm ok, so they were not intentional inaudibles?

I thought that as well, after I had read through them.

The "joining of the realms" thing makes me wonder, though. Can't do that without victory in a proper Mortal Kombat tournament. That's what led to Shao Kahn's demise, which was all a part of Shinnok's plan. Perhaps Shinnok is manipulating Kotal Kahn in the same way.

I think a lot of the MK fandom underestimates Shinnok. He's quite a manipulator. In Armageddon, HE was the one that sent the word out to the kombatants about the "prize" at Argus' Pyramid, knowing that it was a trap that would likely kill them all and clear the way for his ascension.

In MK9, Shinnok essentially got rid of Shao Kahn by sending in Quan Chi to give him the idea of taking and merging Earthrealm with Outworld by force...an act that he knew would bring down the wrath of the Elder Gods (I think Shang Tsung might've known this, too, which is why he sounded shocked at Quan Chi's suggestion).

I'm guessing that Shinnok is trying to do what he did in Armageddon - clear out all potential opposition so that he can easily rise to power. We were told that story mode would deal with Kotal Kahn's rise and fall and that different people will rise to power. I think story mode might be Shinnok's own little puppet theater, manipulating kombatants into offing each other and bringing about the result of Armageddon in a different manner.

Ed Boon said he'd imagine it to be a challenge to continue the story after this game. Indeed...how do you continue when everyone's dead and the ruler of MK hell rises to reign supreme over the realms? confused

Sorry, a bit long-winded, but I like my speculation.

I think you are perfectly correct.

I have said it before:

I speculate that Shinnok was not only aware of Raiden's "time-jump" but he in fact created it. When Armageddon did not end as he had planned he devised a plan to use an "enlightened" Raiden to do his bidding in order to bring about a different armageddon. Raiden of course is a rat in a cage and thinks he is the only one aware of the time-jump.

Raiden's flagrant mistake was not realizing that the appearance of Quan Chi at the first tournament was a red flag that Shinnok/Quan was also aware of the time-jump, as Quan was not in attendance in the first timeline.

Kano: "[Inaudible] your mother."Âa
Cassie Cage: "[Inaudible]".

Kano: "I f*cked your mother"
Cassie: "So...I'm really your daughter?"

Thus, leaving Johnny father Cassie for all these years.

Just for a laugh^ lol.

I don't think it was the time jump at all. In this alternative timeline either he allows Shao to win or he let's Liu Kang win.

Either he falls to Shao or Quan Chi's plans. He chose route 2 and got rid of Shao for good.

Right he had no choice in getting rid of Shao.. but it simultaneously was what shinnok wanted.

Exactly! Either one or the other. I don't think Shinnok went back at all. I honestly think that even if in the first timeline and they went this route it would still be apart of Shinnok's plan. It's just the fact that Raiden killed his best warriors because of a blurred vision.

If he did go the alternative route on his own accord without the blurred visions we would still have MK4 with everyone pretty much intact except Shao and Shang.

But due to Raiden's inept ability to decipher the past it resulted in what we have here: Trust Issues no one can trust him.

This time around however Shao was killed by the elder gods wrath instead of liu's fire punch to the heart. So it is believed that he is gone for good at this point.

Originally Shao was able to come back so Shinnok needed to devise another way to kill him off rather than just a champion of Mortal Kombat.

I wonder if Shao Kahn can be resurrected/reborn in the Netherrealm like Scorpion and Noob Saibot.

I don't think we have seen anyone that powerful/or a god be reborn in the netherrealm like scorp and noob.

Shinnok was not reborn there he was banished there.

Closest thing to that happening is dark Raiden emerging when Raiden sacrificed himself to Onaga but even that is inherently different.

Noncanon through it may be, Quan Chi's MK9 arcade mode ending does have him controlling the dead soul of Shao Kahn the same way he does all the characters who died in story mode.

Very true, ive just been thinking about what might have happened to him after his defeat in MK9. Because if he goes to Netherrealm, there is probably a way for him to be resurrected or even escape one day (Not in MKX) but maybe in the future

It will be cool to see if anything does in fact happen. It is MK afterall, nothing is written in stone and anything is possible.

Thank you to Icebaby,Kombat T,and MKO for all this info.Really has me guessing esp about D'vorah n Scorpions discussion.Does he still not know? But Then the intro with Scorpion n Raiden makes me think that Q is dead.He has killed Q or someone else has and he wants his family restored. If Q wasn't dead,I think he would demand Raiden to tell him his whereabouts.I also think D'vorah could be jumping sides back n forth with her own little schemes n lies.Q would find that sexy in her I believe

I just find it funny that two characters Raiden interacts with both declines his offer to protect them. Even though D'Vorah's reasoning is much different than Ferra/Torr's still.

Why are there so many dialogues between Cassie and Kano (4)?
Shouldn't there be only 2?
