I wish they would do fmv endings but i think theyre too lazy. Plus the arcade endings dont really matter at all anymore it seems. They all written with bullshit fake stuff. So yes i want but dont expect at all.

I do not think they are too lazy. FMV endings would take a lot of time to do. This game is released next year so NRS have a long list to do and I would think giving FMV endings in near the bottom if it was on the to do list.

It's really not out of reach. Even if not for MKX, I'd still like to see them give it a go sooner or later. In the end though, if they've produced a mind-blowing FMV story mode, I'll settle with the text/comic endings. I just want the "cinematic presentation for an unprecedented Kombat experience" that they're promising.

This is a GREAT idea! Especially the second suggestion. Everybody wins! But I would be happy with either of these if done right.

Another post said that the text endings were almost iconic to MK. While I agree with this, wouldn't you say the same for character text bios? Yet they replaced those with the Nekropolis. So would you guys like to keep the Nekropolis or have text bios return?

I vote text bios here because they are so darn nostalgic but I don't see those returning because it looks like they're moving forward with the Nekropolis system. Point is, if they're going to do that, then why not move forward with full blown FMVs? I would certainly say that its a step into the neXt generation. Isn't that what they were going for when they went 3D with MK4 in the first place? If so they can do it right this time.

I loved the MK9 endings. MKX should stick with that format, since text endings are all but a thing of the past.

Sorry, but every time I think of FMV endings, I'm automatically reminded of (cringe) MK4.

Some of you guys talk like MK4 was trash. MK4 is awesome and one of the most underrated MK games out there.

Laziness has nothing to do with anything. I would agree with you if this was acting more so like Armageddon. Except, this isn't Armageddon, and they have more than enough time to give us a complete game rather than half assing it and calling it a decent game.

I had MK Gold for the Dreamcast and I loved it, except for the random weapons and the endings... and Shinnok. Worst boss ever!

I might be missing something but how would a text ending explain more than a narrated FMV ending? I'm not getting the side that says that FMV endings wouldn't explain anything.

I mean we've already had FMV INTROS from MKDA, MKD, MKSM & MKA and they seemed to do a good job so....

MK4 is mediocre at best. It's half-baked game with boring gameplay.
