Wouldn't be that surprised if they kept a few factions secret to avoid spoiling story mode. A Kotal lead faction seems obvious, unless they all get wiped out in story mode. At the same time, a Mileena faction also seems obvious. The Outworld struggles seems like the main thing that inspired the faction idea. I'd personally like to see an additional faction benefit for the warring Outworld faction, where the intent of this thread gets taken to its extreme. Based on participation, players could help push Kotal and Mileena in and out of power. Why not? The online faction wars surely aren't canon anyways.

I don't know about Goro following Mileena. Goro was always about honor and what not. Mileena seems to chaotic a figure for him to follow.

Mileena fans are probably going to wind up Brotherhood of Shadow if they try and stick to game story canon since I suspect Shinnok influences Mileena via the amulet.

I'm so happy with Mileena's role in the MK World. I've been a huge Mileena since the beginning.

I remember being 6 years old and seeing Mileena at the bottom left hand corner of Mortal Kombat II. There was this aura about her and this sense of mystery that got me hooked with just that photograph in the character select screen. Then I began loving her story wise. She's such a great over Mortal Kombat character and I think it's great that her involvement in the story is bigger in MKX. I'm so stoked.

It is really satisfying isn't it?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say she is probably the character that has risen to her highest potential out of the entire cast

she is no longer a Kitana-Light

She proved in Deception she can hold he rown story wise, and although I think she slipped in MK9, I would say she is far more important to MKX's story than Kitana

I really hope I find her play style compatible this time around

As much as I do like Kotal Kahn and what comes with him and the new generation, part of me just loves seeing a character rise to be the new big-bad.
