Ok went back. Watched the entire stream again from begining to end. Changed my mind about Takeda. He's awesome and I'm going to hate playing against him because he's going to be a PROBLEM with those whips. Still wanna know about those light sabers though. Oh and his encounter with Reptile both times was pure gold. He straight dissed Reptile lol. Love the attitude!

His voice is obviously young, which is fitting and to be expected. I have no quarrel with it.

I'm sure his voice will sound more mature in MK11.

Takeda might become my main. HIs whips are very similar to what I imagined a 2D Mavado to play like, except more ninja and less bungie. And I honestly expected his personality to be on the Lui Kang side of serious but not emotionally dead. The younger and confident side we have seen from his intros remind me of a young Bruce Lee; he's brash but knows he can back it up. I am defiantly looking forward to seeing more from him. Now we need to see some Jacqui.

Hes like 24-27ish, and people with higher voices still have high voices at that age, not everyone has deep voices

I honestly dislike everything about Takeda.

From what was shown in the podcast. He's going to cater to the noobs with his keep away chain attacks unless they make the button inputs difficult to use. Mark my words. Because this dude could cover a lot ground easily.
Reminds me of SoulCalibur's character "balance". Short range characters versus long range. His chain resembling Isabella Valentine's whip doesn't help either.

His character design is a bit unoriginal. Especially the head model looking like the Liu Kang that should have been. Right off the bat, you get the Metal Gear Solid character Raiden vibe from the costume. This trend needs to stop. And someone already mention Jago, which I was wondering what the hell he reminded me of when I saw Takeda and the mask. Here's hoping to the alternate costume.

His personality is not at all what to be expected after reading the comics, especially from a person trained by Scorpion. And he sounds like one of those young asshole teens that knows he can get away with shit because he's too young to get punched in the face without the adult going to jail.
