Capcom's practice with releasing countless editions to their fighting games is garbage. Current NRS strategy much better.

I think if they came out with expansion packs,it would be better BUT they would have to make them worth it. We get all this content in a $60 game, if you're gonna put out a $20 expansion pack, then you better deliver with enough content to warrant a $20 purchase like 8 kharacters,alt outfits,Friendships,4-6 new arenas,Challenge Tower,Survival mode and klassic fatality pack or something close to this. USSF4 added 5 characters,6 stages and extra gameplay additons for $15

I do think the DLC is a better idea then Capcom's idea of updates. However they need to be a little more valuable. I'm thinking that instead of it being 5$ per character, it should be around 3$. I mean, for 20$ which is a quarter of the cost of the game, I'd think it'd make sense to get slightly less than a third of the game's value? As DLC can make extra money to be an incentive without being a rip-off.

So 28 character roster, 16 arenas, and 2-3 costumes per character, as well the various modes, for 80$, I'd think that it would make sense for a 20$ pack to be 6-8 characters, 2-4 arenas, and maybe a pick of 4 costumes or some classic costumes. I'd rather that then 20$ for just 4 characters.

Ppl these days r all about getting more for less. These expansion packs can be a huge hit if they provide enough kontent to get ppl to.buy it. Ppl will ALWAYS look qt we get all this content for $60 so when u give us.something like what capcom did,5 characters,6 stages n.some gameplay additons for $15,ppl r gonna feel they r getting ripped off except the die hard sf fans.

I think what would be their biggest selling point to expansions would be to have story chapters included. Ppl r always clamoring for.more chapters so u give ppl 4-6 chapters,8-10 kharacters,6 stages,friendships,klassic fatality pack,challenge tower,survivor mode,alt skins n some mini.games for$30 n that'd be worth it. They can then later sell.the expansion pack on shelves for a lilcheaper like $20 n.come with a code to export to MKX.

MK will never be taken that way. Nerthrrealm will stay far away from that, trust me.

The way NRS has done it with MK2011, will continue in MKX.

1. Release game
2. Release DLCs continuously until all are out.
3. Release the Komplete Edition.

Fuck yes they'll do the same. They can say up and down that they don't support what Capcom does but let's say "MKX Ultimate" has a character they want, they'll give in and buy it.

Which just shows that MK fans and SF fans are basically the same kind of people.

I remember people were asking for an "Ultimate MK9" after the support died. Asking for new stages, characters, etc.

I would've loved to get more characters. more outfits for all the characters and new stages as well... but sold as individual DLC, or even as a collective package, instead of changing the game to a completely new version so others who don't have that other version can't play with those who do.
