I feel like if you're going to model someone and put them in story mode as a bonus, you might as well just make them playable at that point.

I know they want the roster to be different, but it was mostly MK1/2 returnees anyway.
And the annoying thing is well why not have a fight with NPC Smoke, Stryker, Kabal and Nightwolf too? Why just Baraka, Rain and Sindel? And yet why bother putting Tanya as an NPC when she's clearly not finished?

They should make those particular NPCs as playables in the roster because that is utter bullshit.

God, I fucking love that scene where you can tell Raiden does not want to hurt the Revenants, and then when he's had enough, he just lets them HAVE it.

It just sounded like some guy with an underwater voice filter, but it could be. Anyone look it up on imdb?

And I miss his VA from the last game. Steven Blum isn't terrible, but the other guy had more personality.

I have not seen all the story mode yet but one thing really bugged me about Kotal Kahn's leadership.

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
After taunting the Earthrealmers about security, he loses all his common sense. Ordering two messily guards to carry an ordinary, not to mention unlocked chest with his second in command in charge in broad daylight? Brilliant! What could possibly go wrong? I get it, Kotal trusts his most loyal underling to be able to cope with any incoming threat or deadly army but why send two goons carrying/parading a decorative box instead of a magical safe? Does he trust those two as much as D'Vorah? He has experienced the amulet's power first hand, which is all the more the reason for him to escort it personally or keep it on his persons at all time instead of hiding it away. At least send in Erron Black or let an invisible Reptile scout ahead if you want to send in a small specialized force to a undisclosed location. If I was Kotal, I would have sent everyone under his disposal to guard/escort it constantly; it was not like Ermac or Ferra Torr had other places to be.
