Well, I think I'm signing off this site until the next MK is about to be released. I want to thank NRS for another awesome MK. I'm thankful they made my man Johnny a badass and had him survive the story to possibly be in MK11. Thanks to anyone who had civil chats with me. See ya in 4 years.

Yeah. There's a lot of cool things going on with the story and at the same time a lot of questionable choices, like the last MK and Injustice.


Since they've been buddy-buddy with DC maybe they should have gotten Geoff Johns or Grant Morrison to write the reboot.

I love how fighting games bring out tons of people who go "hurr you suck" (even though they're likely trash too) when the guy was doing the hardest difficulty on his first try to debunk unlocking myths.

Actually they died because they couldn't handle Sindel while Raiden went to ask the creators of the realms if they could please actually help out for once with the much, MUCH shittier hand they were dealt this time.

Anyways, about MK9... I do think LK was being an ass. I mean... is it really that far fetched to believe when a GOD tells you something? It's not like Raiden is just some mortal. Your faith getting tested is one thing, but to just act impulsively and irrationally, when a GOD is telling you things... among all the other crazy shit that occur in the MKU... LK just couldn't believe Raiden could see the future? I'm calling BS.

To put things in a shell the game is going to be awesome and love the movesets of the characters despite of some disappointmens in the roster

Someone give me the broad strokes of what happens in story mode, who dies etc. It'll be a long time before I get to play this.

Raiden had been wrong about the future like...3 or 4 times up until the point that Liu Kang ignored him, and he had to personally witness his two closest companions die in front of him. He gets a pass on acting irrational that time.

I think Raiden catches too much crap for MK9. I really do.

I don't blame him at all for Kung Lao. Shao Kahn killed Kung Lao, not Raiden. Kung Lao was showboating and turned his back to a deadly threat. I've heard people say, "Raiden needed only yell 'Look out!'" ... well yeah... him our any other of dozen people there. Kitana and Liu Kang were there too. Ain't no one blaming them.

And I don't blame him for the Sindel massacre either. Over a half dozen warriors couldn't hold their own against one chick while he's gone attending to important matters for twenty minutes? HOW is he supposed to see that coming? As I said the other day, maybe they should've sucked less.

He is directly responsible for killing Liu Kang, but Liu Kang is the one who decided to fight him, so he made his own damn bed. Shouldn't have picked a fight he couldn't finish. And furthermore, since Raiden is inevitably proven RIGHT... Liu Kang isn't even justified for picking the fight. He's in the wrong and caused his own death. Cage and Sonya listened to Raiden, and you didn't see them end up fried. Raiden actually fires SEVERAL warning shots at Liu's feet, before Liu finally THREATENS RAIDEN WITH DEATH, charges him with flaming fist, and Raiden finally fires the defensive shot that kills him. It was Liu's damn fault.

Uhhhhh why didn't sindel just kill everyone again????? Omg people are trying to stream like crazy. I don't see the point of stopping streams when nrs already revealed everything.
