She went up a few notches but she's still by far the weakest, I think. I think the only stinker in the newbies is Ferra/Torr. Like, they show up in story for one bit part and thats it (that we've seen anyway). I really saw no point in it at all besides them looking cool.

Scorpion's chapter has him rampaging around trying to kill Quan Chi, and he hasn't been seen after Scorpion's chapter so it's looking like he might be dead.

Kung-Jin might get thrown a bone too, simply because he at least got a personality, as annoying as it can be lol He at least seems pretty detailed character wise and distinct. So they might feel like they could work with him a bit more.

Jaqui? While I dig the chick, I could see NRS being bored by her and possibly killing her off inbetween games- possibly helping to light a fire under Cassie and make her a bit tougher and colder in MK11(though I don't want her to be too serious like her mama). Jaqui's death could also provide the same bit of "meat" for Takeda's story.

But then again it could go the opposite and Jaqui could also return and simply fill the role of being the Jax to Cassie's "Sonya".

Yeah, a shame they pretty much leave them as nothing but a gimmick, does Erron Black get a chapter? his fate may not be that different if he doesn't.

Haha Ferra/Torr are on their way to becoming the next Hsu Hao or Mavado. Characters they created on a whim and thought would be cool only to realize they were duds not too long after.

I don't know, NRS seem to really like them. Whenever they mention them they always say how much they find them funny. If anyone in this game is a new dud, it's Ferra/Torr but you never know what NRS might do.

Erron Black I think will survive basically on his looks and gameplay. He seems like a total badass and even the guys at my work are excited to test him out. I think Erron will catch on with the mainstream type fans and that popularity might be what gets him a ticket to MK11 rather than story.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see if NRS puts out ranks again for who is most played.
