That's very telling as well but I think most of us know by now Bi-Han had no part in the murder of Scorpions family and clan.
I think Scorpion Teleported Takeda to the Netherrealm to save him from Raiden. He's too green to be able to absorb too many of those shocks from the Thunder God. Now he's probably in hell while Scorpion fights Raiden alone near the Temple. Which I don't know what's worse. Surrounded by demons or fighting a possessed God? Oh and who is in control of the Netherrealm now that Shinnok is trapped in the amulet? Quan Chi?

Most important part for me is the first panel after what was shown in the preview. Scorpion is spitting hell fire over presumably Bi Han (completely covered in flame) who is shouting "It wasn't me. Noooo!" Quan Chi is standing behind. Pretty much the scene from MK9.

Yeah definitely!
What makes me really think that though is the fact that this isn't the first time it was mentioned that Noob wants the Netherrealm for himself. In the Deception-Armageddon arc it is also mentioned that Noob Saibot has his eyes on the throne of the Netherrealm. I just feel like with Shinnok being locked within the amulet and Quan Chi being exposed for what he is leaves a huge gap in power in the Netherrealm. I believe Noob Saibot will fill that gap.

I could see Havik being one of the bosses.Maybe he is a formless entity where everyone sees him different. The darker your soul, the more intense he would look.I don't know, just rambling.Sure hope he makes it.He helps give MK it's dark side

We have to remember that Noob Saibot was the victim of a soulnado similar to Scorpion in Deception. Boon himself has said there will be many Sub-Zeros in this game so we all pretty much assumed Bi-Han would be back with his ice powers. So I'm not so sure Noob is the ruler of the Netherrealm. It would be pretty awesome if he was but I think it's more likely Quan Chi may have taken over although I don't think he really wants to rule over hell. The question of who rules the Netherrealm post Shinnok is possibly going to be one of the most important questions of the story.

Yeah, but if you add things up. Most people have now assumed that this Sub-Zero is indeed Kuai Liang. He has the scar in the game. The SAME Sub-Zero received that scar in the comics at the 5 year mark. The masked Sub-Zero was likely put in the game likely as fan service and most models aren't complete yet. I wouldn't doubt if we see a scar on masked Sub before the game is complete. Also, the same thing happened in DA with the masked version being the alt instead of the main.
I still think Noob has something to do with the Netherrealm. The lack of attention he has received makes me wonder.

I really hope the the end-game for this MKX is indeed Havik as the final boss.
BUT that would mean a Liu Kang-less MKX, and we know how much NRS loves their poster asian.
Also, given that there are no descendants of Kang in the new timeline, it is more likely he will return in some immortal way.

Absolutely! This comic is the best thing that could've ever happened to Scorpion.

I like the idea as well, though this particular issue was a little dry in my opinion.

I felt the same. But it's probably because the preview was half the comic

I'd be hyped if havik was in, being the only known character from there it would make sense. I wouldn't mind a few more chaos realm characters either. They would be weird on principle.

I've heard people suggest the idea that Ferra (and possibly Torr) might be from Chaosrealm. Nothing yet to really suggest it... but I could honestly see it happening.
We know nothing of her backstory, origins or race (If she is a unique race?)... and She's a wiley little bugger.
But we shall see...

I love how takeda just says fuck all this shit and stabs raiden lol
Also theres been multiple shots of takeda having the shocked "oh shit" face throughout the comics, and even in the story trailer, makes the mk universe seem more realistic, than no one surprised by all this

Nahhhh. Ferra and torr aren't weird enough, they are outworld for sure. I'm hyped to see havik with the mkx treatment. If he's in, it's going to be gross. Chaos folk should be ridiculous. Like everyone is a masochistic joker.
