Exactly. That is why I think. Tanya obviously wants to help Mileena in anyway possible afterall she freed her and Mileena promised a free Edenia. Another thing is that Tanya's bio says that after Edenia is free Tanya's relationship with Mileena would be unknown.

Hardly indicates that she's gay. Accusing someone of being someone's whore or sex toy isn't exactly a new thing. As for Mileena and Tanya talking about making each other horny or whatever, well...both characters use sex to get what they want. Could just be them being flirtatious.

I think mileena is a highly sexual character with quite low self esteem. Knowing tanya's nature as we do, I would argue that Tanya is taking advantage of this to use mileena for her own gains

I think the new timeline Tanya genuinely wants a free edenia, which paints her as a morally grey character rather than pure evil-can we really call a rebel wanting freedom for her realm inherently evil?

I also think that mileena is just using the edenian rebels as a mob for rent. I don't think she really cares about edenia. She'd be happy to rule outworld as a whole, but the strongest resistance against kotal is the.edenia freedom fighters, and as mileena is half edenian, she has a connection, however flimsy.

They can be synonyms but there is a difference. The archaic definition is one of a mistress has largely lost its meaning after in more modern times woman and men have can cohabit without being married. In todays society it is largely accepted that a concubine is a woman who lives with a man that she is not married with.

The implication is definitely that Tanya is bisexual -- or, at least, that she'll use her body to get ahead, in addition to all the other ways she secures loyalty from people who'll prove useful to her. I think it's a very sensible expansion of Tanya's character from earlier games.

Mileena has very low self-esteem, and with Baraka dead she was probably craving affection. Tanya very easily became Mileena's most trusted confidante, first by freeing her and then perhaps by sharing her bed.

She's also banging Rain, based on her ladder ending, presumably to cover all her bases. With Rain it's absolutely about business, because his performance as a consort is only 'satisfactory'. ;P

Tremor calling Tanya Mileena's "concubine" sounds more like he's trying to make an insult than a statement. As for Mileena and Tanya's intro, lets not forget that Mileena's intros for the most part consist of flirting in general, so her playful interaction with Tanya didn't really surprise me at all or make me think of them as sex buddies.

Hmmm, at least this holds more weight than the old "Rain is gay because he wears purple" and "Smoke is gay because he has gay hair" threads.
