I guess i'm not too disappointed. Only at how Kano was in the German magazine almost 2 weeks before Gamescom, so it lessened the hype of actually seeing him. Even though those leaked pics did no justice to Kano, I actually thought Kano looked like shit but it was only like 10% of his actual awesomeness shown. I'm just dying to see a returning female, any I just want to see their new take on the. And a brand new character, so my hopes were kinda brought down because the Kano leak. Still an amazing reveal, slow and steady is how they're revealing MKX, and i'm fine with that. They have so much time before release, they won't be showing too much too quick.

What I suggested is no different than what Ed has done in the past, such as his many Prince and movie references. Not my fault that he can pump people's balls at will.
The man is a cryptic bastard genius that can get people buzzing for days.

"Blind Melon" would be an interesting thing to see people decipher.

What does humor have to do with anything? I don't hover over Ed Boon's Tweets 24/7, but from what little I can recall, his cryptic messages are not supposed to be funny. It's supposed to make you think.

Can we not with the whole "lets giggle at peoples' favorite who didn't make the cut!" Immaturity? You dislike or hate a character and is happy he/she didn't make the cut- then that's fine, but let's not poke our fingers at their fans and "tee hee" at their misfortune. I'd love it if a few characters were also deconfirmed myself- but I'm not going to try and throw sarcastic bitchy jabs at their fans. Let's be better than that.

I knew Rain had very little chance of returning, everyone did. But as with everything else we speculated because that's what a message board is for. But it seems like whenever we would speculate about this particular character others would assume we were "OVER analyzing" and not that he's been seemingly ousted certain people sadly seems to have this "Ha! That's what you losers" get vibe and I don't like it.

We all love MK. We're all pumped for MKX. So let's play nice and support one another instead of kicking a dog when it's down. Have some decency.

He said less likely be DLC because he has been DLC before, so that said also that Kenshi, Freddy and Scarlet are not DLC this time around, but they can still be in the vanilla game.

And yes, it proves again that Boon hates Rain the character.

It would be a very pathetic excuse to take Rain out of this game because he was in freaking MK2011 as DLC (so not even in teh story) and then put characters like Sonya, Cage and Kano (all who were in the freaking MK2011 game as well) back in mkx.

It doesn't make sense, so Boon hates Rain if this turns out to be true, as it is a very stupid reason.

Then Kenshi should also not be in the game.

I am dissappointed. I've expected at least 2 characters to be revealed and then suddenly...Kano. He is cool, no doubt, but he is not one of those characters I can be excited about. He just doesn't do it for me. I hoped there will be at least one new character...

As for the rest of the information - I don't think it is really big deal. All of it is so vague...

I'm happy with the way NRS is slowly releasing info. E3 was the big reveal of MKX and naturally they released the most info at that event. The Kano reveal at Gamescom was perfect, especially because those of us who saw the leaked low quality pics in a Game Informer were pleasantly surprised how awesome he actually looked. We got to see all his variations in detail, plus the new jungle stage.

Patience is the key people, too much info this early on will spoil things down the road.
