Cage's flip kick isn't even a special move, i don't know why Cassie having a flip kick is used against Cage when characters have been sharing normals since the very first game (everyone in MK1-MK4 had the same normals, BTW).

Just wanted to say..The flip kick and shadow kick are moves in itself.. Rewatch the stream you see, it is called the glow kick and it is b f 2.And the fact that her moves "feel" like Sonya Blade with JC power, kinda make it seem more like they arent playable..Hell even put JC personality into a female character...But I like his idea too of a crazy wizard JC..

Glow Kick is the kick that sends her flying upward. When enhanced it dives back down, behaving like Sonya's Arc Kick. On the stream they specifically state that the Shadow Kick is a visual flourish at the end of a combo and is not usable by itself like Johnny's.

Cassie still lacks the full craziness of Sonya's gymnastic agility and the full versatility of Johnny's Shadow energy. Instead, she's set up as an "action chick" with actual military gear (which sonya never had... ever) and a scrappy fighting style that's a bit more utilitarian than Johnny's or Sonya's flashy stuff. That leaves enough room for either, or even both, of her parents to come back without really overlapping.

I'm inclined to agree, tbh. Many of my favorites are in, but that doesn't make up for the complete lack of variety in regards to representation.

Yupp. In my mk history ive used raiden, kung lao and liu kang more than anyone and wouldn't have minded it all if they sat out for fujin, havik, and reiko.
