Where are you getting this information? From everything I have seen she is one of the most requested 3D era characters. Sure she has people that don't like her and are vocal about it, but so does EVERY other character in the series.

Just because you don't like a character you don't have to pretend everyone else does to make you feel better.

I just dont think its true. I can understand Johnny and Sonya. But Jax? Jacqui already looks WAY to similar to Jax. I think he will be an NPC. And the only way I see Liu Kang making it is if he is the boss. Plus I dont think Goro will be on the spot unless u have the DLC. Kinda like Cyber Subby in MK9. I think the final roster will be

None of the leaked rosters are true. Random gamefaq people, and JamesMK who was wrong multiple times and changed his answers multiple times are not reliable people.

I am with you man..That leaked info just doesnt add up to me..Jade not in and Kitana has her style.I would think that would apply to Cassie.. Cassie has Hollywood for her dad. I feel like Takeda will have some type of telekinetic powers, like pops..Kung Jin is the only family member that truthfully looks different..As far as chars, hurts my brain trying to figure that out lol.

But I definitely could see Jacqui's alternate costume being Jax depending on what those arms of her do. With the comic showing Jax training her it doesn't seem inconceivable to me that they'd go two for the price of one with her. I also don't see Jax getting his own spot.

Well she has the shadow kick. And I am pretty sure I saw her do a flip kick..And the nut punch is so iconic to JC..Just think 2 chars having nut punches is dumb lol..Only 1 nut punch allowed!!..The secret technique passed from father to daughter..

Johnny still has the shadow kick as a special. He's also got his green energy ball throws. He'll probably have new moves added since many years have passed.

Yep that. After seeing her in depth in the stream, she really doesn't have a lot of Johnny's stuff at all. And Johnny can live without the nut punch; in MKDA he did the splits into an uppercut instead, which worked out great.

So are we going to theorise they're going to change Cage's moveset in order to accommodate Cassie's which is already filled with references of Cage's moveset?

They gave Scorpion a fire ball didn't they? They gave Kung Lao a new hat. I don't see how giving Johnny a new move is hard to see.

Dont worry because Cage will be in the game as a playable character in the main roster or via DLC ....

I see and respect your point. Maybe they thought of taking Johnny in a completely new direction to begin with though and gave him new moves before Cassie was even created. She got what Johnny wouldn't use anymore. I mean Johnny never did the split punch again after MK2 until MK9

The final roster will include: jax, sonya, johnny, shinnok, erron, kenshi, and liu kang. Deal with it. Rain, fujin, reiko and tanya may get in but its unlikely at this point. Li mei has no chance. Bo rai cho is like a 25% chance only cause of the casting call.

Would be great if they take JC in a completely new direction..I dunno..Just IMO it is a way of knocking out 2 birds with 1 stone..How do u eliminate Sonya Blade? Make a female character, that kind of looks like her..Than how to eliminate JC?? You could be right too. Johnny Cage and Sonya might not be playable we have no proof. Cassie could very well be their replacement.

Well, we know that Cassie is incapable of manipulating the green stuff as well as her father can, based on her intro with Raiden. Johnny can throw projectiles and she can't, so he has that on her already. And that means there are probably a lot more skills that he's picked up over the years that she also can't do.

For Cassie's part, her cartwheel kick has an entirely different look and properties from Johnny's flip kick. The cartwheel kick and rising/arc kick both have a more Sonya feel to them, but with Johnny's power behind them. The only moves she actually "inherits" are the nut punch and a Shadow Kick that is part of a combo, not a move in itself. That's two moves that Johnny has no compelling reason to keep if he can now manipulate green like a master. Maybe he stuns people with energy now, kind of like the charge-up move he had in MK9 -- and that wouldn't be any less "Johnny" than punching someone in the nethers. He can still keep the Shadow Kick as a stand-alone move without seriously overlapping Cassie, too. The Shadow Kick is apparently a proud tradition between the two of them, so it doesn't seem too bad if they can both use one but in a different way.

Bottom line is, Cassie has three Shadow moves in total while Johnny can build his whole thing around them like in MK9. Seems fair.
