Infiltrates his opponent with the smoke element, you see the opponents stomach moving, then two baby enera demons claw their way through the opponents abdomen.

Cyborg Smoke sucks and will always suck in my opinion and I think Cyrax took his previous timeline plot line.

I do not see the point of making Smoke a cyborg when we have seen him as cyborg in the previous timeline and Cyborg Smoke was not exactly popular either. NRS made him enenra and gave him unique powers and abilities in MK9 and Enenra Smoke was very well recieved. So why change that? I see no point in it.

He wasn't in Enera form in MK9, he was human.

Who the hell honestly cares? Everyone knows what we mean when we say "enenra". What is the point being pedantic?

I think Enenra Smoke is ground for some really interesting character design because he doesn't have any actual physical form. So he could look like anything. Give him a more traditional humanoid form as an alt, and if he has DLC, give him a cyborg form.

What do you all think of how Smoke's variations will appear?

His main weapon should have a kusarigama

The kusarigama is a popular choice for Smoke, I think a set of chained scythes like Axel in GG would also be appropriate.

Variation 2: (smokey arms like Sub-Zero's icy arms)
Variation 3: (enenra demon eyes glowing)

Just a thought on his physical attributes.

How do you dismember an "Enenra Demon"? How would you do an X-Ray move on a bunch of smoke? How would fatalities work? I know he was like that in MKA but not a lot of sense was made in that game in general.

Because Smoke isn't going to fight you in an ethereal form for gameplay reasons. He's going to come in as an enenra and then take a physical form. Most people now just want to see his enenra nature come out in the character design. So when you look at him you can instantly say "Yeah this guy clearly isn't human."

Then why did you say NRS made him an enera in MK9?

Cyborg Smoke es numero uno, but i'll take Smoke anyway I can get him i'm off the mindset that I don't care which incarnation of Smoke we get he is cool as shit regardless just please NO MORE TROLL HAIR.

Smoke should become a Enenra demon if hes in the game Not only did he get neck snapped, he got his nuts shattered. To be honest I think the way he died was overkill. You can clearly tell by the time sindel's foot connected he was longgone. If one of sindel punch could kill then imagine what her legs can did....inconclusion enenra demon if he returns

All the love for Enenra Smoke makes me happy. NRS really hit it out of the park with that ending.

I actually have variations in thought for Smoke.

1. Smoke- User becomes intangible to projectile attacks with this variation by pressing the button used to activate it.

2. Enenra- Toxic smoke surrounds him and his attacks receive a bonus.

3. Smog- 3 smoke balls circle him and can be used as a projectile.

Fatalities and even X-Rays are Non-Canon. They're just fanservice. The only actual Canon Fatality was Scorpion's Toasty on Bi-Han.

Cyborg. He should have been cyborg until , someone changed him back, like Cyrax. Sadly thanks to the reboot, he is just another boring character.
