In my oppinion if they reverted sub zero being a cyborg they should at least stick with smoke NOT turning into one. Plus him being a smoke demon is more unique as well. Especially with all the smoke based abilities. With Raidens detail of his lightning effects I would love to sre what they do with smoke if he is included.

If Smoke is to be in the game it should be his human form. His primary look should be of a Ninja while an Alternate should be more of a Demon'esq Ninja Demon/his Enenra Form.

But Definitely his Fatality he should have Full Enenra included!

Enenra. As was said, it's more unique, and could give Smoke an identity other than Kuai Liang's best friend.

Honestly, the cyborg thing only works for new characters imo, like Sektor and Cyrax were once, not familiar non-cyborgs like Smoke and Sub-Zero. Or rather, it's NRS that struggles to write a storyline for more than two cyborgs. Cyrax got Smoke's re-humanization story in MKG, while Smoke eventually came back as a mindless lackey in MKD, then CSZ got the re-humanization story in MK9, leaving Cyrax as a mindless lackey (and jobber) once he got automated.

Cyber-Smoke only needs to be an alt with some slightly different animation and a more robotic voice.

Demon Smoke all the way. Though I'd love to see Cyborg Smoke as a dlc outfit. Just because we didn't get it last time. And not just MK3 version, but a full new look on a Cyber-Smoke design.

My vote goes to Ninja smoke. Maybe in his Fatality he could transform into a demon, but I'd rather them just keep Smoke as the games only legit ninja.

Enenra Demon because I liked the way they were going with him in MK9.

I would to see him back as Human Smoke but have his Enenra demon side along with it. I agree I would like to see a fatality that involves his demon side.

I too like the idea of keeping Smoke as a human, perhaps a variation can display his demon abilities? There could always be an alternate costume which shows off his more demonic side.

As for Smoke being in MKX, I would say it's highly possible he was on of the most popular and most played characters in MK9 IMO so the studio would be doing a disservice if he was not in.

I am rooting for his inclusion and also him being an enenra. Truly badass, and I know NRS can pull it off.

Even though variations don't seem to drastically change the characters appearance all the much my (unlikely) hope for Smoke would for him to be non canon DLC that way each variation could be a different form, one human, one cyber, one Enenra.

Pretty much. But I wouldn't doubt his cyborg outfit is one of the skins in the Kombat Pack.

Besides, I would think he would need to stay human to reach full Enenra potential. Being half a fucking robot probably wouldn't help. I mean...canonically anyway. Robot Smoke Skin>Enenra Fatality I'm down with.

I wasn't suggesting he be made a cyborg in the story anyway. My hopes would be that it would be a non canon/not official variation (or costume) as a nod to the original timeline and for the people that liked cyber smoke. Dude would still be a human or Enenra in canon.

Can you guess?... We'll to be fair there's no demon smoke avatar lol. Cyber all the way, baby. I know I'm a broken record with this one but Cyber Smoke actually made sense. That's what bugged me about cyber sub, it didn't match his character they just did it because they could. Smoke = Smoke , factories, darkness, smog, machines ... Cyborg, I see how that makes sense, you know? I don't see how demon works.

Although I like his gampeplay and looks I never really dug Noob Saibots transformation. I'm sure the lore and explanation is there but going from Cyromancer (Ice powers) to A wraith (shadow powers/ making doubles) never jived with me right. Sure I get it, he died but it just never felt as right to me as Smoke becoming a Cyborg. My point to the whole Noob thing? We already have our "Dark Demon". I think demon smoke would be overkill... On top of me just not liking the idea lol

If I was a betting man though, smokes not gonna make it. If any Cyborgs make it I think Cyrax will be the only one.
