I actually kinda liked Conquest for what it was i.e. bad TV. But no, now characters from it. I'd like the Great Kung Lao in eventually, but not for a few games. Maybe a prequel, that could work. But for MKX, no

Siro and Taja were great characters but they would work only in a Konquest Mode game or something similar.

Never really liked Omegis (as a character... Eye Candy? Sure. Absolutely. but serious character? No way.)

Taja, Vorpax and Kiri on the other hand, are a different story. I would love to see them in a game. I liked Siro too, though he'd need a bit of refreshing story wise (Taja too I suppose). Actually they're good base characters... however, to be a serious part of the MK story, they'd all need some serious additions to their stories to make them a bit more robust characters in that regard. With the exception of Vorpax.. I though her origin/mission was pretty interesting storywise. He was probably the most interesting character of the cast as far as story was concerned. IMO anyway.

I like Vorpax, but I kinda feel like she is the replacement of Tanya.

Also Qali (kitana's friend in the series) is based on Jade.

I really like the series (watching them again after many years not seen them) and they really beat both movies for me personally, most of all because I like the characters more than I like Liu Kang, Sonya and Johnny.

Speaking of Conquest, since Warner Bros owns the entire MK library I wonder if they'll ever release a complete series box set here in the states? That would be awesome and a day one buy from me.

Oh no doubt. Vorpax and Tanya are practically twins. Vorpax made betrayal an art form in that series. No one every quite knew which side she was playing for...including her mother.

I never watched the t.v series, but, I would like to have Argus and Delia from MKD Konquest mode in MKX as playable characters or bosses.

Its really a shame and strange they named her Vorpax and gave her Jade's colors, it would have been so cool to see Tanya (which already excisted while the series were made) in her place with the same actress and same behavior and role.

I would definitely buy it too. I really enjoyed it. Did you know that the actor playing Siro is the main Agent in The Matrix 2 & 3 (not Agent Smith) and Taja became TX in Terminator 3. I didnt know this until reading this thread and then thinking "Where are they now?"

As for them being in an MK game... I actually wrote a fan-fic YEARS ago where the MK Fighters had to fight the God of Time "Kronos" and the cast from Konquest was pulled to the present, along with the future offspring. I even gave Sonya and Johnny a son, Collin Cage. #Random

But I agree that Siro and Taja have no place in MKX. They dont have any powers, which is kinda boring. I also think Kung Lao's MK9 ending will be cannon. It said that he IS the Great Kung Lao reincarnated.

I do wish MKC got a second season though, the ending is just too depressing. Edit: I wouldnt mind seeing The Great KL, though I think NRS could do better than his MKC incarnation.
