Capcom can get away with it darn it who cares. I bet no one says Marvel vs Capcom suck so why start with Mk (wait cause it don't seem right or once again non-immortal ryu not in it).

Give it a go I'd like to see (marvel fatalities):

1) Wolverine gouges out guts werewolf style.

2) You does not want to see a Hulk destruction fatality in which he beats to the bone.

3) Others I'd like to see Fatalities to are IronMan, DareDevil, Blade, Ghost Rider.

Final Word: Hey Ghost Rider vs Scorpian, War Machine vs Jax, Shang Tsung vs Magneto ect. I don't believe another game is worth having fatalities in a fight game format though some have tried (Killer Instincts, War Gods).

Just live with ideas and stop complaining. Don't talk if you have nothing positive or leveling to say and yes getting comic fans into fighting games actually endorses the fanchise.

Logic: Fight fanchise (fight fans)+ Comic fanchise = More field of Fans ($$$ Money$$$). Its called broadening the horizen (in this world more people equals more money). Get with the times here!!!

Just in case anyone was thinking otherwise, I'd like to point out that both Marvel and DC have adult content and blood and guts in their comic books, but neither has ever put out an M-rated game.

A Mortal Kombat vs. Marvel would still have lame Fatalities. For proof, you may want to check out the finishing moves in Marvel Nemesis.

Everything here is correct. Marvel Nemesis is all the proof anyone needs that Marvel has no place in the world of MK. If I had to pick, I'd actually say DC is MORE violent than most of the Marvel stuff I see. A Marvel MK game would be just as watered down.

Plus, crossing over with multiple franchises looks kind of pathetic. They've already made their decision.

The only games that could even REMOTELY match up with MK in terms of Violence are . . .

-Eternal Champions (I can just see Trident punching a hole through someone's gut and turning their insides into some chum. Haha, fish joke.)

-Killer Instinct (Given that Rare will allow some multiconsole ability.)

-Timekillers (Wait . . . No. No Timekillers.)

-Samurai Shodown (Maybe. Kinda unlikely, but it'd still kick ass.)

-Guilty Gear (Okay, this is just me. I just know there's gonna be some truly kickass music involved. Just cause ASW makes kickass music for every GG.)

-Thrill Kill (We all know what this game could bring. Amp UP the violence.)

- A parallel Universe (Maybe around the time of MK12 or so, make a Parallel Universe paradoxy with the One Being.)

THE reason why Capcom gets away with it, it's because Street Fighter doesn't have the same qualities as what Mortal Kombat has. You clearly haven't spotted the major difference between the two games.

Street Fighter - No blood, no fatalities, very bright colors, Cartoonish look, completely same fighters over and over and over and over.... again.

MK - Lots of blood, fatalities, very dark colors, Gothic look, no same Select Your Fighter screen is the same.

The point is, Capcom gets away with it because there's a lot more things that it has that attracts attention towards younger crows with mothers who allow their kids to play a fighting game that features no blood. As with Mortal Kombat, I am certain that no mother would allow a nine year child to play that game. (Although in the world we're living in right now, there's no such thing as what I just said.)

But anways, you also claim that no other fighting game is worth having fatalities.... oh.... you just hit a weak spot. Why should MK not feature fatalities anymore? Why? Why can other fighting games feature fatalities anymore? That's totally cheap for a kick-ass fighting game such as MK and it doesn't have fatalities. Surely you are joking right there, because what you just said I can't believe you wrote that.

We're complaning because not that many people enjoyed what this cross-over has done to the MK frenchise, of course I didn't, but the others who have, they have the right to complain about the game. Not that many people enjoyed the fact that MK was toned down for this game only. And we all know that it'll be better once MK9 err... 8 or whatever number its at, comes out. But everyone has the right to entitle to their own opinion. Even if it's nothing positive, they can't be shut down by you just because you don't like hearing negative sayings.

And your logic isn't right either. I know a few people who are DC fans who are outraged at the fact that DC combined with MK for a game. They love the two series to death, but unfortuantely they didn't like this for some oddly reason. Even myself, I don't fully beleive that your logic is correct. Not that many people will enjoy the two together... and you're looking at some who cannot stand anymore crossovers with Mortal Kombat. I say this not in a mean way, but in a more fully understable reason why I have to argue back about some of the things you wrote.

Unless you're talking about Marvel Zombies Vs. Mortal Kombat, then no.
The only reason people are shooting for Marvel now is because they think it'd be more violent, but we already know that that's bullshit (except for ProfAnhka, who chimes in every once in a while without adding anything that helps his cause because he is proven wrong). Marvel Zombies would be perfect though; given how ruthless and hungry the heroes are in their zombified forms, that'd inspire a devilishly violent game... That would not sell well at all because nobody would buy a game that had Spider-Man eating Liu Kang (except for me, because that's kind of funny in an absurd way).
