Shao Kahn was the protector god of Outworld once. He could easily come back. He's my second favorite character so I really want him to be playable in MKX. Maybe as DLC even. I'm still waiting to see Shinnok.

Shao Kahn should definitely sit out this game, with his presence confined to Ermac possibly serving as his Horcrux. Would add some long-overdue mystery to the character.
