This would not surprise me. For one, more people will decide to get it on current-gen systems so more sales for PS4/Xbone. Second, we haven't gotten much info on the PS3/360 versions which means the delay is necessary.

If it gets delayed by one month yus i'll be bummed out. But i can deal with it. Hopefully PS3 and Xbox360 might get a added bonus, like a free download

I got ps4 just for mkx last year. But will be buying for ps3 as well. I can use my ps2 controllers on my ps3 where as I can't on my ps4. So both console versions FTW.

This is one of if not the main reason I bought a PS4 last April, I had a feeling new games that I wanted would be next gen only and I would miss out. I still haven't seen anything hinting at this being true but it does suck for the people getting last gen only.

Got a PS4 for Christmas. It was time to upgrade to next gen(thank god) anyway so it was a good call lol.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, my gf and I racked up enough Dave and Buster coupons (yay for exploiting a coupon glitch throughout 2013!) to get a PS4, so I'm ready... but as an MK collector, it would've been interesting to snag the PS3 version. As I've also mentioned, it evokes memories of the MK 1 and 2 console days when the games would not only be released on Super Nintendo and Genesis, but also Game Boy and Game Gear... and Master System, if you were in Brazil

However, I'm still intrigued by Boon's "4K" post, implying that the PC version would allow 4K capabilities. Of course, I don't have a 4K capable PC *or* monitor, so it's moot for now.

Poor choice of words? The team is making the game for the current gen systems, which will allow for advancements within the game. I'm happy they aren't watering it down to give the last gen systems parity. Yes, it sucks for a shit ton of people that have not purchased a current gen system. But really, PS4 and Xbone are current gen, not NEXT gen. NRS isn't dicking people around by having another studio handle the last gen systems...that's what most companies are doing. I'd rather the team focus on creating the BEST game they can with the best hardware available.

Yeah im kind of glad they are focusing on next gen as well so they can take full advantage of w.e the next gen console tech allowed them to do.

I do hope that the last gen version releases on time for the people who don't have or aren't getting next generation consoles yet though.

The current gen consoles have been out for almost two years now. They aren't really new anymore. But how can you be mad at nrs for simply focusing on making the game the best as possible. They cant do that if they keep trying to scale things back for outdated consoles.

You know what.. It's barely more than a month until the release date.. If it was going to be delayed they would have announced that by now. As soon as that rumor appeared they would have done damage control. I don't believe it until they officially announce the delay.
